I don't have time to read and comment this morning. I will read it later today and try to comment another time, if i feel it's worth responding to.

... my only comment is that Israel exists because of the anti-semitism in Europe before WW2.

I don't know why i bother to respond. 2 out of 3 replies get deleted for content. The Moderator needs to lighten up. If people can post crazy accusations that i'm a potential murdered, then i should be able to respond. I never go out of my way to make my replies hurtful. I believe the moderator just doesn't want me to have an opportunity to deliver a rational arguement, particularly if the arguement correctly identifies a certain group as the guilty party. Why bother responding with the truth if it incriminates a certain party. That 'incrimination' is considered hurtful or attacking a certain group. Why bother responding if the truth can't be stated.
Everyone protects that pathetic little group of criminals. The protection goes as far as shielding lifes eternal victims from criticism...

“those plucky Jews” who survived against all odds and made democracy and the desert bloom in a climate hostile to both liberty and greenery,

They stole all the water. Amnesty international did a piece on israeli water stealing. They diverted over 90% of the water to israel...

"The denigration comes in two guises. The first, the soft version, blames Israel first and most for whatever ails the Middle East, and for having corrupted U.S. foreign policy'

tHEY HAVE CORRUPTED u.s FOREIGN POLICY...Who feels America really needs to be at war in the middle east?? Be honest..Jews need not answer as we know your feelings...

"Thus, in the United States, the “Jewish lobby” and a cabal of neoconservatives have bamboozled the Bush administration into a mindless pro-Israel policy inimical to the national interest. This view attributes, as has happened so often in history, too much clout to the Jews."

Without a doubt the jewish lobby and jews in general have bamboozled the president...

"And behind this charge lurks a more general one—that it is somehow antidemocratic for subnational groups to throw themselves into the hurly-burly of politics when it comes to foreign policy."

It's perfectly fine for subnational groups to be involved in foreign policy. It isn't ok when that group, all 2% of the united states population, shoves the whole country into needless and extremely costly wars that benefit only the jewish state...treason comes to mind...Thats the problems with the jew, they feel that they and their jewish state must come first. Without a doubt we are at war for israels best interests. That shouldn't be America's problem.

“[A]s long as Israel has nuclear weapons,” Ritter opines, “it has chosen to take a path that is inherently confrontational.…"

No truer words have been written.

"If the Brits had to give us a country not their own, why couldn’t they have given us Switzerland?” "

Jews were offered Madagascar as a homeland, instead they insisted on being placed right smack in the heart of the Arab world. "Where i lay my hat is home" could have been applied in this case.

"Israel is not merely an unruly neighbor but an unwelcome intruder. Still timidly uttered outside the Arab world, this version’s proponents in the West bestride the stage as truth-sayers who dare to defy taboo. Thus, the British writer A.N. Wilson declares that he has reluctantly come to the conclusion that Israel, through its own actions, has proven it does not have the right to exist. And, following Sept. 11, 2001, Brazilian scholar Jose Arthur Giannotti said: “Let us agree that the history of the Middle East would be entirely different without the State of Israel, which opened a wound between Islam and the West. Can you get rid of Muslim terrorism without getting rid of this wound which is the source of the frustration of potential terrorists?”"

well put...

"This notion makes sense only if one cherishes single-cause explanations or, worse, harbors a particular animus against the Jewish state and its refusal to behave like Sweden. (Come to think of it, Sweden would not be Sweden either if it lived in the Hobbesian world of the Middle East.) "

You reap what you sow. Sweden doesn't act like thieves and murderers...Sweden also would have used common sense.

no nead to comment further...

So don't start going off on your little paranoid diatribes.

funtime69, you make me proud to be a Jew. Knowing that we Jews must be pretty cool people since we are so much the opposite of people like you.

Want the truth? Start expanding your horizons beyond that little Swastika you have tatooed onto your personna.

Now excuse me while I read your response that WAS printed.

Thats a very lucid response, funtime. You cut n paste, and then use the quote out of context. Bravo. I was hoping for something original from funtime69, not just more of the usual cut n paste.

I won't waste any more of my time with you.
