Laffy hasn't been with a woman since his cuddle session a decade ago. USA is a bigger nation and the response from each state is fractured and different. I spoke to a friend in Singapore and Singapore has only 1,481 cases and the Singapore government believes that the cases are originating dual citizens from USA, France and Spain that are acting ignorant. They are going under 30 days strict lock down.

Shutting down the economy was never going to be a long term successful strategy.  It always had a short halflife.

As originally proposed, bending the curve was simply to space out cases, not stop them completely.  Stopping them completely would be moving the goal posts.  It's just not viable.

The economy IS life.  You can't shut down the economy and not expect to end up like Venezuela or Cambodia.

The economy will have to be opened up, even if people die.  There really is no other reasonable option.
