Shutting down the economy was never going to be a long term successful strategy.  It always had a short halflife.

As originally proposed, bending the curve was simply to space out cases, not stop them completely.  Stopping them completely would be moving the goal posts.  It's just not viable.

The economy IS life.  You can't shut down the economy and not expect to end up like Venezuela or Cambodia.  
.
The economy will have to be opened up, even if people die.  There really is no other reasonable option.

USA is a bigger nation and the response from each state is fractured and different. And then there are complete moron and idiots like CDL who are running around and think that they have immunity in their body (asymptomatic spreader if they are infected). We have to be prepared to be here for a long haul as it is very hard to contain this.  

I spoke to a friend in Singapore and Singapore has only 1,481 cases and the Singapore government believes that the cases are originating dual citizens from USA, France and Spain that are acting ignorant. They are going under 30 days strict lock down.

Laffy hasn't been with a woman since his cuddle session a decade ago. Nick hasn't been laid in years, (which may account for his interest in sucking up to Laffy) DFB only goes on the K-Girl board to stalk CDL and to GD to do the same, Imp is like Nick, he "used to" be interested in pussy, but I haven't heard him even talk about getting laid for years, well before COVID 19. Then of course there is Zack, I guess he gets a pass as an agency owner, Mari seems to be more interested in sipping on his white wine spritzers than getting laid, I honestly can't think of any lefty currently on this board who seems to have any active interest in getting laid except for Happy. Maybe that's why he's called Happy? lol
