Didn't think much of that prick she had for a part time husband. But it is sad she lost the battle.

I haven't heard a thing to change my rather low opinion of him.

Few public figures these days were as warm and positive as she was. She will be missed.

Perhaps if he had not gotten that enormous mole/tumor thing cut off his lip, it would have metathesized and killed him before her...  Of course had he gotten it cut off his lip WAY sooner in life, he wouldn't have ended up marrying a plain-jane BBW like Elizabeth either and she may have found a happier life-path...   But maybe if he had just left the disgusting mole on his lip, he'd have never been able to attract another woman into an affair and thus Elizabeth would have died happily married... Oh the many paths a life can take...

Elizabeth Edwards exhibited exceptional class and dignity in a situation that called for neither. In her last days, she was very public with her message of caring for, and grace toward, others. No complaining, no parting shots - we should all hope we expire with such dignity. Seems she would have made a better leader than many others. Rest well.
