Reproductive Freedom is like calling the Inflation Enhancement Act the Inflation Reduction Act. Most conservatives are smart enough to see the bait and switch in the way Dems name things, but the Dem elites are counting on the ignorance and stupidly of their base to not get it. We already have reproductive freedom. Any woman is free to make babies. The campaign should be called what it is, "Baby-butchering Freedom." It might not sell, which is why Dems are not known for embracing the truth.
The last good polling I saw on the issues voters cared about was ranked like this. The overwhelming most important issue to voters by a big margin is the economy. That does not bode well for Democrats. The second biggest issue seems to be a tie between immigration and abortion. The problem for Democrats, is that immigration is quite tangible. Immigration can sway Democrats in the bluest of blue states. Abortion is more of a stagnant issue. The Dobbs decision happened 2 years ago. The immediate outrage at it is over. People have had 2 years to mull it over. Only 14 states have outright banned abortion. While it's easy to manipulate women, for those most concerned about abortion, they tend to be mentally ill women who would have voted Democrat anyway. For women post menopause, abortion is a non issue. It's only an issue for young women, and there's a sizeable portion of them who are not in favor of abortion. It's only the crazy mentally ill ones on the left for whom this is an important issue. That may be the majority of young women overall, But young mentally ill women make up less of the population than young men plus older people of both sexes.

Some risks are raised. Some risks are lowered. As "personalized medicine" improves, doctors (not politicians) will be able to prescribe the best drugs or combinations of drugs (estrogen / progesterone or others) to achieve the best results with the lowest risks. . What is the baseline incidence of harm in all pregnancies? (deaths per 100,000; etc.) Does birth control decrease risk of death by one means but increase it to a lesser extent by another means?

Re: We ought to ban the pill. The negative health effects of this horrible medication will soon be known. The lawsuits will be monumental. Condoms are safe and effective.
…poor mental health in women, to what do you attribute YOUR poor metal health
Of course your depression is due to the death of your dickless cat. And like an iceberg, only 10% of your stupidity is visible in the form of TER posts. The other 90% of your stupidity is displayed in your private life and in your dead end job sucking off the gubmint teat
