The DOJ confirms that Biden is not cognitively competent to stand trial.  The obvious implication is that he is not competent to be president (which was obvious in 2020 when the Democrats elected him anyway.)

Democrat party has to be seriously making plans to get someone else on the ballot.  I know they would want to wait until the convention to slip in the DNC anointed replacement.   But that's a gamble too.   That only gives them 2.5 months until the election to sell this new candidate.

I agree that Michelle is their best hope.  But there is responsibility with the job.  If she is an ethical person I don't think she would want to just be a figurehead while Barak was the power behind the throne.  She'd be basically signing up for an eight year gig after having been in the WH already for eight years.  The weight of the world would be on her shoulders.
