and MPLS is fucking out of control because a couple mayors and a governor have told their police to stand down and not get involved in removing illegal immigrants AND then promoted and encouraged altercations with ICE by citizens and "protesters".  The nightly news is only catching a fraction of the problems and completely ignoring some of the wild shit going on against the federal agents.  

It's a shitshow alright but not for the reasons you've listed. Everything was peaceful until the arrival of  2,000 federal goons that have occupied the city and brought on havoc and fear.

Walz and Frey and the rabid left, who support them in resisting, impeding and not cooperating with ICE and the federal government who is trying to help the city and state  by arresting and removing the illegal alien murders, rapists, gang members, drug dealers, and violent criminals.  

The first major protest happened when a huge fenty bust was going down.  There was a leak from within the police dept or city hall that caused the activation of the "emergency response" agitator/protester crowd that swarmed law enforcement during the operation.  This was last June.  Officers were assaulted and protesters went to jail.  It was hot news for about 10 minutes until media found out it was NOT an ice operation but a massive drug bust that coincidentally netted several illegal immigrants in the process.
