So a New York Jury has awarded E Jean carroll $83.5 million from Trump for sexual abuse, defamation on TV, public and social media.    Now Trump should register himself as a sex offender in West Palm Beach FL.  

He was found civilly liable for defamation so he does not have to register as a sex offender.

A first jury convicted him of sexual abuse of E Jean Carroll and awarded $5 million in damages for denying the charge and defaming her in public.

Yes but that was not a criminal conviction in last May(?).

"Carroll could not sue Trump over the alleged assault, as it would have taken place outside the civil statute of limitations. A novel New York state law in 2022, the Adult Survivors Act, opened a one-year window for adult accusers to file suit for incidents outside the civil statute of limitations."

But I guess it's just better for your side to think she lied so you don't feel any guilt as you cast a vote for a woman abuser.

not a criminal conviction that requires registration as a sex offender.  The criminal statute of limitations had run out, so she sued him in civil court and get the $5,000,000.  The $83 million was just due to him not moving on after the first $5,000,000.

In today’s case, the only issue was the amount of money E. Jean Carroll would receive.  A previous jury had already determined that Trump raped Carroll.  

The woman is a whack job. Her accusation follows an episode of a cop drama TV show she binged watched. She kept talking about how rape was sexy. She had a bizarre fascination with Trump and named her dogs “Tits” and “Vagina”. Democrats changed the law just to enable the lawsuit. That’s how perverse this whole thing is. How long will it be before this law is used by stalkers to sue celebrities into the poor house? Democrats will break any institution for short term pettiness against Trump. It’s fucking bananas.

Saying the jury “knew all the facts” is an outright falsehood.

This just in CKS...there are constitutionally protected rights as to what goes before a jury. A judge makes that decision. Is this really news to you? Trump's incompetent lawyer Alina "Homina Homina" Habba had the opportunity to exclude jurors who may have been biased against Trump but she selected the jury along with the plaintiff's attorney.  And of course Trump was too cheap to hire a jury consultant to assist her so he was stuck with the jury Habba selected.

And yet a jury of 7 men and 2 women found against trump to the tune of $83.3 million. She's taking that "crazy" all the way to the bank.

I think the person who is crazy is the one who, after previously being found liable for sexual assault and defamation to the tune of $5 million, continues to incessantly defame the plaintiff. Members of the jury pool take an oath to answer questions from the lawyers and the judge truthfully as part of the voir dire jury selection process. The trial jurors take a second oath to impartially consider the evidence and the law. So, yes, I think the jury was acting in good faith in arriving at their unanimous verdict.

The jury decided that trump defamed her to the tune of $18.3 million and then added a penalty of $65 million of punitive damages for his outrageous behavior and to get him to stop the defamation. When you act illegally juries have a way of correcting for that. Get used to it. It's just going to get worse for your 'Dear Leader'.
