Not just the elections, all of it.

I'm tired of fighting the good fight only to be bit on the hand by the ones I'm feeding, stabbed in the back by the ones I'm protecting, and spit in the face by those from whom I seek counsel and guidance.

I've had my fun, but now I'm done. I can't fight any longer. My body is tired, my spirit broken, my soul too deeply damaged to heal.

Now where did I put my .357?

put down that .357.  Slipping into despair means that the terorists have won.

Drink a quart of Bleach and lay down in the yard..It will be a lot easier for the clean up crew..
Or better yet .. Be a man , have a good cry and then slap yourself in the face as hard as you can .. Get back to work

If it’s the personal attacks you can no longer handle I can understand how you feel.  The alternative would be censorship which would stifle opposing views in a debate, thus no debate at all.  Personal attacks don’t really affect me because we are all anonymous.  Our aliases have aliases.  The different political ideologies make for an interesting forum.  The lack of censorship also allows us to express how we feel about liberalism, conservatism etc., without the constraint of PC.  A lot of what is said here could get the author fired or at least seriously disciplined in the work place.  Enjoy free speech while it still exists. Otherwise, consider an overdose of sleeping pills.  It won’t be so messy and won’t preclude an open casket viewing.  Either way; Good luck

Mine doesn't. Many people on TER know exacltly who I am, real name not just alias. I own every post I have ever made here, including the stupid, drunk, or stupid drunks posts have have ever made.

Just because you and many others don't have the stones to stand behind your beliefs, don't project those fears onto me.

and for the little pissants like the Avenging Fetus that think that I would be intimidated by a child, they can go fuck themselves. I am not going to be intimidated by anyone here much less some pimple faced  teenager that hacked into his daddy's TER account.

Sorry about the rant, but I do believe in free speech even the speech I disagree with. I don't want to suppress it, How would I ever get the chance to ridicule stupid opinions if we were to start censoring them?

Have you ever considered some introspect on why you are SOOO full of hate for anyone posting under an "alias" even though they have not stepped on your toes; or anyone else’s for that matter?

Is your agenda one of bullying away the use of aliases so that someday you can debase and impugn 'usernames' for not opining the way you think they should?

Your obsessions are regularly showing, and they’re not flattering.

Of course a TER handle is an alias, but many of us have friends from TER that extend beyond the anonmynity of the internet into the "real" world. I have met dozens if not hundreds of people that post on TER. My TER handle while technically an alias is well known to many here, and my "real" name is known to many here.

So yes, there is a huge difference between posting under your "real" fake name, and posting under an easily disposeable "alias of an alias".

IMHO posting under an alias that you have no investmest in has much less credibility than a post made under a handle that the user has been making posts under for years.

FWIW I agree with more of what you say than I disagree with, but I still believe that those who won't use their "real" fake names show a little less conviction behind their words than someone who attach their "real" handle to their positions. No offense, but I can't help but to attach a little cowardice to those who can't stand up and be counted.

but you do have at least the courage of conviction to stand behind opinions. As I said earlier,"I don't want to censor opinions".

I will defend your right to make any stupid statement you care tom and you make plenty of them. I actually agree with most of what Night Stalker has to say, his opinions about aliases just is not one of them.

I agree with most of what Night Stalker posts, I disagree with almost everything you post, yet somehow you manage to attach ad hominem attack to my reply to Night Stalker.

Now if I were to say that "RR02610 is an idiot and not worth responding to because if it comes from his mouth it must be untrue". Now that would be an Ad mominem attack, but I never said andything like that, and you wonder why I say you make "stupid staments"? lol

Maybe you should just run along while Night Stalker and I talk. I am sure that while he will most probably disagree with me, I am sure he will at least understand what I am trying to say.

I have been a TER member for over 6 years.  In the beginning I used my TER handle for writing reviews as well as posting on the various discussion boards.  The only problem was I wrote reviews based on my experience, not to conform to other reviews.  I felt if a review was not an accurate depiction of what had occurred then it was worthless, or even worse misleading.  Reviews are supposed to be tool to help in the decision making process of selecting a provider.  Creating a glowing review of an experience that was substandard is fraud and a disservice to other hobbyists.

Everything was fine until I had lackluster experience with a certain provider.  She didn’t like the review and told me it didn’t matter if it was my candid opinion, she wanted it rewritten or removed.  I pointed out to her the purpose of reviews but she could care less. I was also involved with TER folks outside of the TER forum.  I attended parties before the Meet and Greets started and enjoyed interacting with the other members.  Because she didn’t like what I had written about her, she petitioned other spineless hobbyists to pressure me on the LA Board to change her review.  She campaigned against me to other providers by alleging I did things that I had not done.  She eventually left the hobby, or at least she was banned from TER.  The cronies who lined up with her are mostly gone as well.  Actually, most of the TER folks of that era are no longer active.

I still write reviews using my TER handle and I still write them based on my personal experience. The same situation could recur with another disgruntled provider who doesn’t like an honest review.  At this point, there is no connection between the handle I use for writing reviews, my alias and my real name.  Providers who I have seen can figure out which hobbyist wrote a particular review but slamming my TER handle would have little if any effect on me at this time.

I can respect and understand your POV. It's a shame, but it is a reality and a valid reason for using an alias.

I believe that some providers that post on the various boards are also justified in using an alias, especially those that are outspoken with their opinions. I can't really make the case that it is worth a lady's livelihood to try to make a political or other argumetn on an internet board.

FWIW There is one thing I hate waay more than alias posters and that is the chronic, spineless whiteknighters. I don't mean the guys who will act to defend a lady from time to time. I mean the gutless suckups that, in an attempt to curry favor from the ladies constantly gang up on anyone with the stones to offer an honest critism about a woman on the boards. Those guys are beneath contempt IMHO.

"Name calling" is that remedial enough for you to understand?
I was going to use 'epithets; but decided that would incite yet more semantic reprise.

You looked up ad hominem and figured out it had nothing to do with my post.

Semantics my ass. lol

If you haven't noticed, Night Stalker and I seem to understand one another. Why can't you?

"Have you ever considered some introspect on why you are SOOO full of hate for anyone posting under an "alias" even though they have not stepped on your toes; or anyone else’s for that matter?"

Don't you find it ironic that you, who had no toes involved, semm to be the only one who still has a problem? Maybe you are the one in need of therapy?

I will give you the last word on this subject, I am becoming rather bored with the whole thing. NightStalker and I seem to understand each other and his opinion, alias or not is much more important to me than yours.

To each their own but in my case I couldn't imagine using a alias other than quad anywhere on TER..I am a Gemini and its hard enough keeping track of two people with the same name ,so to avoid confusing myself I stick with the same name everywhere...Even on my provider  email account..quadseasonal@
