He was a victim of unbalanced press coverage of a chaotic situation. And the root cause of that chaos was the insane sanctuary policies they have up there in Minneapolis.

Remember that much of ICE was putting detainers on "suspects" while they were going thru the court process or had been arrested.   So all those police had to do was "HOLD THEM" until ICE showed up.   But they didn't and released them.  Which made ICE do the things they did, do the operations they did, do the surveillances they did, etc.    IF the suspects were actually HELD like they requested not much of this crap would have happened.
