This attack seems awfully half-assed to be a major gov't conspiracy. I will grant you that Lee Harvey Oswalt had some help, most likely from the Mafia. I will grant you that there's something very fucking strange about WTC#7 falling when it wasn't struck by a plane.

But this seems like it was half-assed. Only 2 out of 3 or 4 bombs went off? It goes off on tax day. The bomb used wasn't very powerful.

Then there's another aspect of this. Nobody knows what the hell the terrorist's message was. Was it "fuck marathons"? Was it "fuck tax day"?

Whatever anyone thinks of 9/11, it was obviously an attack designed to say that there's something wrong with American capitalism and US foreign policy. What the hell is the message here?

This is why I think the gov't isn't involved. At all. My money is that the person who did this was the same sort of person who would fly a little commuter plane into a little IRS building in Texas.

Consider this. If there's anything the Obama administration and Democrats were focused on on April 14th, it was getting gun control passed. The more you can keep the gun issue in the news cycle, the easier it will be for them to pass gun control.

This event takes guns completely out of the news cycle. That takes political pressure off of Congress to get it passed. That's not in the best interest of the Obama administration.
