this map shows California more than 60% red according to land area. However, the population centers (Bay area, LA, and San Diego) are all in the blue areas. Agricultural areas are mostly red, just like most of the rest of the country.

Looook at that map!!! Interesting all of the cost except for the small Sliver known as Orange County is blue. This is starting to shake out more as a class war than a political ideological war.
