Not at all.  Sounds about right....

I can't wait to see the replies that follow of people defending this crazy bitch, though...Give it about 5 min.

Good thing the McCain campaign vetted her so well in the 15 minutes they met.

Read it and judge for yourself...

Wow some are really thinking aganist hope that Pailn is gonna be in trouble over this BS .
Keep watching Kethie O and get a hard on with him :)

Obama is just one monster phoney baloney stick full of lies.  Jeremiah Wright---lies, Tony Rezko---lies, Bill Ayers---lies.  Obama has to lie about everyone he knows.

Timbow2156 reads

Kethie and Rachel Maddow will have to have professional help for depression if MAC wins :)

You may be right, Timbow.  Could ultimately amount to nothing, but have you noticed Palin's favorable/unfavorable ratings over the past few days?

On September 11th she was 52 Approve, 35 Disapprove (+17) rating

She's gone down about a point or two a day and yesterday she was 42 Approve, 46 Disapprove (-4)

I'm sure the fact that she may have lied to a judge about her reason she fired someone in a corruption investigation will really pump up those numbers.

Tusayan1573 reads

Has she told the truth about anything since McCain piked her?

The fired trooper is a real scumbag.  Kind of like----oh never mind---no name calling.

But what's the matter?  No comeback other than a bad cop was fired?  work it for all it's worth.

Don't waste your time trying to explain Obama's associations with Rezko, Ayers, Wright. Or how Obama doesn't help a brother in Kenya living in a mud hut on 12 bucks a year or how his hero is Saul Alinsky.

That shit doesn't matter when compared to Palin having a bad cop fired.  Work it for all it's worth.

I think people have a hard time to believe it is the truth when it comes from politicians because they have been lied to so much. This exactly the problem with Palin, she tells the truth, every one believes she is lying and Obomb lies about his resume ( many other lies) and everyone believes it is the truth. People have been conditioned.

Moreover, she didn't fire the trooper, he is still on the force. She fired the Director of Public Safety for not following her orders. Legitimate cause to fire subordinate for insubordination.

This is nothing more than witch hunt by the Democratic Chairman who is heading up the investigation.

This is just an attempt keep it alive in the press to see what mileage Democrazies can get out of it.

New Name = "O'Bomb", Mikey likes it.

Independents Rule this election.

kerrakles2201 reads

I guess Democrazies vetted O'Bomb so well before anointing him. Shall we go into it?

Read GOP Geezer's post.

What the fuck is wrong with the MSM? ABC  must be trying to defend their Golden boy Charlie who fucked the interview so bad!

Only left wing liberals and mono-cell organisms (is it really) believes in MSM.

Research2000 says it's Obama over your boy McCain by 50-42; Gallup Daily tracking has him up 50-44.  Not only that Palin's favorable/unfavorable difference drops again yesterday, she's 40/47 for a net (-7) - the least popular of any of the 4 candidates.

In fairness, I'm not happy with all of Obama's past associations but I've always thought the Ayers thing was way overblown.  If he's such a bad guy why don't the Feds go and arrest him?  He's not hiding, he's teaching English at one of the best Universities in the country (U. of Chicago).

It's a mistake to talk about past associations.  Palin, especially would be vulnerable since her church has invited the leader of Jews for Jesus to preach.  This is a guy who said terrorist attacks on Israel as God's "judgment of unbelief" of Jews who haven't embraced Christianity. She's claimed her electoral success was helped by a pastor who has done some witch hunting in Africa.  Not metaphorical witch hunting, he' hunting real witches.

And if you think Palin doesn't lie,  you don't have to go further than the subject of my original post.  She told a judge that Monegan was fired because he took a trip that was not approved and now the paperwork approving that trip has been discovered.

But keep denying reality.  It seems to be working fine.

From Daily Kos and Huffington Post? Highly reliable source indeed.

As far as Elite schools are concerned, they have many nut cases out of touch with reality. Teaching in an elite schools doesn't mean someone is not a nut case. Actually the empirical evidence is other way around.

Sorry Kerra but I said "half the country" based on tracking polls from the respected organizations of Gallup and Research 2000.

Polls are only snapshots in time, but if you think Gallup and Research 2000 are in the tank for Democrats, you only have to look as far back as a few weeks ago when they showed McCain up to see that you're wrong.

Inconsistent fact is that right now, you're guy is losing.

The terrorist crimes of setting bombs, to which Ayers freely and publicly admits, have a statute of limitations that has long since expired. Some of his associates who were captured and convicted were pardoned by The Clintons.

RWU -

Thank you for replying with reason and clear thinking.

I don't think anyone wants to defend Ayers, but making the election about passed associations seems like a fools errand.  I'm sure your side will see whatever associations that exist between Ayers and Obama as evidence that Obama can't be elected and my side will dismiss them as meaningless.

The same goes on with associations on McCain's and Palin's side like Pastor Hagee and some of the fringe people who have spoken at Palin's church, or Palin's association with the Alaska Independence Party that advocates secession from the Union and has a motto of "Alaska First."

The Grey Lady had to correct  that  non truth  and Palin  only did like any politician and spoke to them to get their vote .

The Times had to retract that she was a member, but they did NOT retract that her husband was a member from 1995 - 2002 (when his wife entered politics) and I'm sure you've seen the video from only a few months ago when she told the AIP to "keep up the good work."

See this is the problem with arguing politics, according to you Sarah Palin's associations with the AIP are only evidence of her being "like any politician" but you'd never give the other side the benefit of the doubt.  Think you'd be so cavalier about it if Michelle Obama was a member of a secessionist party for seven years?

Timbow3107 reads

Yea funnier would have beeen Michelle in the KKK like Robert Bryd :)

How long ago amounts to 'past'? BHO only very recently disassociated himself from Ayers and it was quite meager.

Is there a difference between speaking to a group in an attempt to get votes vs. accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars in contributions and also actively working together on political projects and also sitting of the same board of directors?

RWU - I like the way you think.  I don't mean that as a snark either.

You raise a good question that again I think is probably impossible to answer.  Speaking to a group to get votes in this case might be innocent, it might not.  If you want to assume the best about Sarah Palin than you have to ignore that her husband was a member of a secessionist group that put Alaska before America.  Certainly you're right to do so and I think the fact that it hasn't become a bigger campaign issue means that this point of view is the prevailing one.

You'll have to help me out with your post though - I'm not sure which 100's of thousands of dollars you're talking about in your post.

As far as I can tell from my research Ayers threw a coffee gathering for Obama's initial state Senate run, and donated $200 to that campaign.  To say they "actively worked together on political projects" makes what they did sound pretty dangerous.  I believe they were both on the same board of an anti-poverty organization.  Doesn't seem so bad to me, but I'm happy to hear more of your side of the argument.

RightwingUnderground2531 reads

I stand corrected in that Ayers did not donate in excess of $200 personally to BHO.

Their 'work' together (as community organizers) was on two different projects. The Woods Fund Charity and the Anneberg Foundation. While I am jaded and consider all Chicago activity corrupt in one way or another (I live near by) the Woods foundation is fairly innocuous.

The 'Annenerg connection' is different. The foundation itself is no enclave of radicals. The beef is not against the non-profit (although see reference above concerning my jaded viewpoint).

My problem is with BHO's judgement. He claims he has a simple passing acquaintance with Ayers since they both live in the same neighborhood. Fact is, Ayers Co-FOUNDED the Annenberg Foundation and BHO was the CHAIRMAN of the board. More than just two neighbors passing on the streets? You betcha. Guilt by association? Damn skippy straight.

I checked the Annenberg Foundation website which does not list William Ayers as a co-founder.  It only says it was founded by Walter Annenberg.  Foxnews.com only states that William Ayers was "instrumental in founding" the Annenberg foundation.

It does say that he was certainly at meetings where Ayers was present.

Natural I bring my political bias in my judgement, but you have to admit at least that Foundation's goals are honorable, don't you?   LI mean, if you want find fault with Obama I suppose you can find something not to like about this, but it seems to me that his goal was not to connect with Ayers but to do good through a foundation that Ayers had associations with.

I'll let you have the last word RWU, I'm off for the night.

RightwingUnderground2066 reads

Ayers co-wrote the grant that founded Annenberg. Whether or not the Annenberg Foundation is associated with sleazy organizations (like Acorn) is irrelevant to me.

I have such contempt and disdain for people like Ayers that anyone who willingly shares the same oxygen with him for more than 30 seconds (no matter the ‘cause’) is undeserving of any respect. There are plenty of other 'community organizations' with which Ayers is not affiliated.
