a sitting Prez has every right to ask a foreign government to look into corruption involving Americans.

How do you think so many aircraft companies got into trouble back in the 80's for corruption when they were paying off foreign government officials to send them orders for planes with their citizens tax money. I believe it was called something like, "The Foreign Powers Corrupt Practices Act", and many of those convicted were because the US asked foreign governments to advise us of any bribery attempts from Americans.

I guess you missed the part where the transcript has Trump telling Zelensky to get in touch with Barr to go after the Bidens. So Barr desperately didn't want this stuff to see the light of day. So he did what he could to cover it up. And apparently you're so desperate to avoid reality you'll be the willing dupe of the crowd of grifters.

Those aircraft and other investigations of violations of **US laws** were conducted by the FBI, the IRS, Congress itself and other gov agencies. When they requested help from foreign govs in their investigations (e.g., bank records, etc.), it was done through normal channels of cooperation and the LEGAL legal system.
