One of the OIGs Trump fired was at USDA. She kept culling chickens saying they had bird flu when they didn’t to intensionally drive up egg prices by cutting off supply. When Trump fired her she refused to leave. Trump had to get security throw her out of the building.
Avian influenza is spread by migratory birds, most of which are carriers of the virus but do not suffer from disease symptoms. (The ones that DO die never make it back to North America.) I do not know the political affiliation of the migratory birds. . Detailed pathways and connections are known for some flu viruses but, roughly: (a) wild ducks, geese, etc. migrate to Asia. (b) they poop all over the place and the current virus (in their poop) infects other bird species as well as other animals (pigs and other farm animals located near migratory bird "homes" (lakes, ponds, etc.). (c) The virus mutates in all of the unaffected hosts. (d) The domestic animals continue to poop and shed mutated virus strains into the environment. (e) The migratory birds pick up the mutated viruses (from lakes, ponds, etc.). (f) The infected migratory birds fly back to North America and poop all over the place, including in areas close to industrial farms where the chickens are not immune to the new strains and the disease quickly spreads. . For human flu, the US, China, and other World Health Agencies used to continuously monitor migratory and domesticated birds, pigs, etc. in order to get a read on what to expect in the upcoming flu season. Before mRNA vaccines, it could take 6 months or more to prepare flu vaccines. Based on the data collections, epidemiologists and virologists would make a best guess as the which strains (combinations of HxNy) to expect in the US when the migratory birds returned and to prepare vaccines in advance. In some years, the projections could be off and an unexpectedly virulent strain might not have been planned for in the mixture. . As far as we know, migrating birds do not use Secret Agents, Dem co-conspirators, decoy ducks, nor canards to sneak bird flu into North America. . Constant surveillance by trained professionals helps to monitor and control outbreaks. Even with AI, Musk's Teen Squad cannot stop a virus epidemic just by reinstalling the operating system.

Eggs are only refrigerated in the USA. Europeans don’t refrigerate their eggs. Eggs naturally have a protective covering to keep out various microbial nasties. This makes them shelf stable. But the USDA washes it off and we have to keep eggs refrigerated as a result.
