Several on the board said they would. Sounds exactly like liberal whiners when GWB won 2nd term-----pot---kettle-----black-----LMAO !

Check out link below, particularly for generic GOP against BHO------now, literally a tie, months ago, GOP lead by 5 %. Think public getting soured on GOP, after being exposed to them via media & debates ?

Still, close to tossup in my eyes------I give BHO 51% of winning it. Of course, things could go against him in coming months. Ok-----admittedly too much on polls lately & will cool it----don't want certain posters calling for "necktie party" for me-----:(

I wonder if GaG will put up with a buncha freeloaders in Costa Rica ?!-----;)-------- LMFAO !

My posts are as valid as yours----folks on the board can interpret that as they choose. As for a "necktie party", they can get ugly, as evidenced from below; perhaps a mistake to "humorously" mention them :

so why does anything you post matter?
I do like the necktie idea though. Your statement, not mine.

I still make a really good living and lead a nice lifestyle. If it ever gets to where government regulation and taxation makes this impossible, then yes, I am out of here.

Obama's re-election would in my opinion make that day come sooner, but it all depends. that is why we have 3 branches of government.

Thank God my middle class family come up in time when property could be paid for on a middle class salary of just the bread winner working.  I will hang around the city until I can't go after my dream anymore.. Then I will move back to the country and take care of my mama (my father is gone already)  where there is plenty of land for any of my friends that are deer hunters and a pond for fishing for my fisherman friends.  My small home town has successfully shut down a Wal-Mart from coming for years.  Yeah, I see myself back in the country in the next 10 years.  If weed legalizes, I may become a farmer or cropsharer.. LOL  I won't leave the country, just return to the country.

Of course I wouldn't leave, but I don't know if I am "an angry white man."

Of course, if I posted something about "angry black men" as a voting block, the feces would hit the fan. But I just be a po' honky, so ....

In any event, I beg far fewer conservatives have talked about leaving if Obama wins than the number of Dems who promised to do so after Bush won.  It is just not that much of our style, and the numbers are so small it is silly to talk about.

FInally, the RPC is very misleading by itself.  At this stage in the game, the opposition party is always squabbling and looks fractured and weak with flaws front and center.  An inclumbent with no challeger can always look good, flying to L.A. for an opening of a bridge and a fund raiser, running off to Virgina for a highway opening and a fund raiser.

Obama is still 5% down in approval.  When a single voice is selected to run against him, things could easlily look different.

I am not predicting the future.  I could see events that would lead to a close raise, or a blood bath for either side.   But at this stage, it isn't so shocking that Obama beats a bunch of people who the public only knows because of inter-party squabbles.

If I win the lottery, big time, I would retire to either a hill town in central Italy or a flat in London.

I would keep U.S. citizenship, but one of my bugs in life has been travel, and I would wear out my passport.

But the same is true for who ever wins.
