again, 15 minutes on youtube shows there are definitely sadistic sociopathic cops, and there are racist cops.  His 15% are bad apples, 15% good, the rest can go with the flow and are influenced by their peer culture sounds plausible.

Of course he can't speak from his experience in one department in one inner city to statistical realities for the whole country.  But, sounds plausible.

I think the problem is the race angle here.  Again, most people killed by cops are white actually, and there are plenty of youtube videos of cops beating up white suburban moms for no reason, or white suburban Dads getting tazed, or white homeless guys waving knives getting shot by cops too lazy to negotiate.   We have a Cop problem. And we need to teach people how to behave with cops so there is NO possibility of trouble.  As I told my white son, cops have guns and clubs and lots of friends, and like to be in charge.  Be very very polite, always sir or mam, and always keep your hands where they can see them, and move very slow, and do exactly as you are told.
