SOURCE???
.
During the J6 hearings, it was brought out that Team Trump had been pressuring Cassidy AND OTHERS not to tell the truth or to say too much and to forget things. Cheney displayed some of the text messages during the hearing:

"... Representative Liz Cheney, vice chairperson of the House of Representatives investigative panel, displayed Tuesday two messages from notes sent to hearing witnesses saying that former President Donald Trump was keeping a close eye on the hearings and was counting on continued loyalty. The senders of the notes weren't identified. ...

Rep. Loudermilk (R-GA) was brought up during the hearings and he was shown on video leading future J6 rioters on tours of the Capitol the day before. Loudermilk has long been pissed about being exposed that way and he leading the push to get Cheney investigated.

statements attributed to "unidentified sources" in quotation marks.  That makes them so much MORE believable.  Lol

The only names we have are "One witness . . ." and "a second witness . . ."

Then CNN says someone contacted Hutchinson who was trying to influence her testimony, but apparently, that person doesn't have a name.

Yes, Impp, you have done a fine job nailing down the facts and who said what to whom.  You're a real Sherlock Holmes.

The article was real-time reporting on the J6 hearing. In that session, the names of those that sent the messages was not made as a PUBLIC disclosure. It turns out that Cassidy was one of the targets of the Team Trump pressure (tampering) campaign. Cassidy made it clear in her testimony that her Trump-paid lawyer pressured her not to testify against Trump and to fall back on the old "I don't remember" answers.
.
You can dig through more articles or the entire J6 transcripts for more info that was publicly released and filled in the (temporary) info gaps. Team Trump, by any name,  tried to influence witnesses and their testimony.

you attributed to "unnamed sources" of CNN, which is not a reputable reporting outlet.

You haven't said if you agree that Liz Cheney deserves to be charged for witness tampering for bypassing her lawyer and telling her what to say via text message.  Text messages are a form of documentary evidence, much better than unnamed sources allegedly telling CNN something, which is hearsay.  If Hutchinson did not want to take the advice of her own attorney, she has the right to a new attorney, but her attorney advising her is not the same as Liz Cheney, a member of the Committee coaching her on what to say.  People hire attorneys to get advice, but it's up to them whether to take it or not.
