It doesn't bother me a bit but it's very apparent that most ads feature people of color and -- shudder -- mixed-race couples and their kids. Gay people, even. And, gosh, the ads make it seem like they're just the same as everybody else! Shocking!
What must board bigots like Wanker, SwallowMeat and LimpScum think? Do these ads upset you? Hope so!

My experience is that it is the almighty dollar that moves corporations, not the need for any true justice or reform. The people making these ads are followers, not leaders. It's nice to see but so late in coming.

But it's fun to see how sitcom like "Curb Your Enthusiasm" jab at it, in a funny way. That bald guy, Larry David is a trip

Regarding mixed race couples, the vast majority of ads feature a black woman with a white man.  Very few that I've seen feature a black man with a white woman, which to me seems more prevalent in society.  Now I have no way to substantiate that, & it may be more of an personal observation than anything.

Feature a love story between a black man and a white woman...I don't watch, my wife does...I just happen to walk by and see what's going on.

is the media's attempt to portray these families that are mixed as being in the majority and are the norm in this country.  I think that's dishonest.  I think they should portray them in the same percentage as they appear in the population according to the census.  That would be an honest representation.

I just don't want to see it applied to football.  In that case, the starting 11 would include 6 white players, two black, two Hispanic, and one Asian, . . . . . a sure combination for a losing season.  Lol

I think it’s a fair observation. A lot of advertising is based on the psychology of making people feel good. The BM/WF  pairing is the one most associated with negative connotations, especially among white men and black women.

The last part of your comment is also something I was thinking about, but as I was posting, couldn't come up with a proper way to convey that observation, so I didn't say anything about it.  I think you depicted my thought on that rather accurately.

It wasn't that long ago when there was a law against blacks marrying whites. It was called something like misgeneration.
Then the lib Supreme court threw out the law. But now the new Supreme court can change it back to the way it should be. Just like their doing with abortion. If they won't do it then MAGA Trump will outlaw race mixing when he wins in 24. We are standing by Mr. President! We will help you enforce it.
Don't buy any products that shows blacks soiling our white women!!

You regularly see people drinking beer or alcoholic drinks in TV shows, but it's non-alcoholic or made to look like liquor.  I imagine tea is used to simulate darker liquors like whiskey.  Food coloring is also a popular prop aid.

Similar concept with smoking.  Not real tobacco being used, plus frequently anyone smoking during a scene will take a very quick puff, then quickly exhale the smoke.  Think of Bill Clinton & his pot smoking before he was POTUS; "I didn't inhale."
