…I’m guessing is because this country heavily subsidizes farms, and most farms are in rural red states. But in a rural town you expect them to be impoverished. In the last 20 years nothing much has changed in red states. You can’t say the same about blue states, especially their cities. Seattle, Portland and San Francisco were beautiful cities 20 years ago. They weren’t all that bad 10 years ago. Today they’re literally covered in shit. These cities went from the best that America has to offer to homeless meth heads biting passengers on the BART train. What happened? Have you guys ever taken a good hard look at this and thought about it?
Chicago used to be an amazing city. Rich in culture and music. A truly American town. Now look at it. Endless crime. Endless homicides. Endless bloodshed.
