The next day Trump is saying:
“Our farmers are being hurt badly by, you know, they have good workers. They’ve been working for them for 20 years.  They, they’re not citizens but they’ve turned out to be, you know, great. And we have to do something about that..

We can’t take farmers and take all of their people and send them back because they don’t have… maybe what they’re supposed to have, maybe not.

We are gonna have, uh, an order on that pretty soon, I think.  We can’t do that to our farmers.  And leisure too…hotels.”

Make up your mind Trump - you fucking moron!
Maybe someone finally told him that if 11,12, or 20 million illegals were deported, our economy would crash - no agriculture, no construction, no service industry.

Personally, I’d love to see it happen so I can watch filthy MAGA morons crying and screaming about paying $20 for a head of lettuce.

This is NOT about "open borders." This is about the deportation of immigrants with legal work visas. Read the articles that point out the historical examples where "economic errors happen[ed] when calculating one thing and forgetting to calculate the other." The deportation of immigrant labor led to job losses and wage depression, contrary to the expectations of the administrations' expectations.

... Studies that excuse open borders are like this. ...

To repeat: Trump's mass deportation policy is NOT about open borders. It will cripple numerous biz sectors from agriculture to hospitality and beyond with ramifications that will impact EVERYONE (food costs, etc.).

"The key point here is that to boost those numbers, Trump and Miller have to go after noncriminal migrants. There aren’t enough criminals around to pad the numbers, and targeting noncriminals is less resource-intensive. In other words, Miller is deliberately choosing to focus more resources on noncriminals—and thus away from dangerous criminals. Law enforcement insiders have leaked word of their anger over exactly this."

His plan is to have Homan's ICE thugs to scare the shit out of law-abiding people who happen to be undocumented to get them to self-deport. That way he can drive the numbers up without using a lot of resources. He actually doesn't have nearly enough people to accomplish his goals without also forcing out working people. Trouble is, even Trump has now recognized this will damage key industries like farming, meat-packing and hospitality. In other words the goal is impossible to meet. So another TACO.
Good thing Miller has no hair cuz he'd be pulling it out.
I wonder if Wanker and his righty Stooges will ever figure this out?
Probably not.

Then why is Trump giving many of them a pass, simply because they work in particular industries, pay their taxes, keep the supply chain flowing, and limit price rises? It would seem aiding criminals also makes you a criminal. Let's not even mention the Chrisley pardons.

First of all, the LAW says for someone to be a criminal they must first be CONVICTED. Which means in a court of LAW including due process. Also, the circumstances of their allegedly illegal arrival here may include protection if they are fleeing violence, discrimination or other threats.
So, no, NOT all illegals are criminals.
Typical Wanker ignorance and over-simplification.

is enough to make them a criminal.  If you admit you broke the law, you don't need to be convicted in a court.  When asked how they came to the US, they will admit they just walked over the border, which is against US law.
