...back to topic...no I don't like just links....neocons or lib links....just regurgitation.

and have no concrete evidence to back up links. They only have plagarized comments from other comentators on MSNBC. I find it more interesting when I read posts that are from an educated person with ideas not something copied from internet.

Anyone can surf the web and copy all files or webpages, what does that bring to the P&R Board , I feel it only turns me away from board and I have better ways of keeping myself busy. lol

You're implying that info picked up from the Internet is automatically bogus.  Not true.  The Internet is a gigantic dumping ground of the true, the false, the real and the distorted.  It's what you pick that counts.  There are lots of links to things that seem very credible but in fact are totally bogus.  That's why using Snopes.com to check things out makes sense.  Or Politico.com.  You just can't believe everything you read, even if it's something you agree with.  It just takes a little work.  But only a little.

Btw, this person ( who you cowardly refer to via snide innuendo ) is engaging in the "Socratic Method" ( something you've obviously never heard of ) which means he lets the links speak for themselves & leaves the commentary up to others.
And since the links are acknowledged, how are they "plagiarized"?! ( proper spelling, unlike yours )

BTW, Liorr, since you're an admitted HS dropout whose previous posts are laughable exercises in mangled spelling, syntax & grammar, I find it sidesplitting that you can accurately comment about an "educated person".--------ROFLMFAO !

Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out .

only wish to bring interesting news items to the attention of the Board;others may desire to start a debate without taking a position.

Not everyone has either the time or the interest to write long involved posts like Mein and I sometimes do, and these long posts sometimes are counter-productive - some readers take one look at the length and move on.

The problem I see is when someone posts a paste from the Internet without acknowledging that it is someone else's work. I think that is undesireable for a variety of reasons.

I frequently will post long rants here, but I'll also post links. Typically, they are news related items that I think are very important, or sometimes just odd, quirky, or funny. I'm sure there's people on here that can't bear to read through my rants, and I'm cool with that. You either like what I write, or like engaging with me, or you don't. I can live with that. No hard feelings. For those who don't enjoy it, I hope the when I post links that it will bring a smile to their face, or engage in a debate without having to write a page long diatribe as a response.
