Your link makes no sense with regard to your post. It describes Yaser Esam Hamdi and John WalkerLindh who were American citizens who joined the Taliban. If you want to call all domestic terrorists “Taliban” that certainly is your right, but please include the far left who have rioted and destroyed property as well as trying to intimidate anyone who opposes their point of view. And by the way, my name is Stronzo, not Gonzo. Nicky gave that to me and it means “big Italian shit”. Much to his chagrin, I actually like it. Again, I suggest you try to look at the whole picture and not just throw out inflammatory rhetoric.

I am more and more convince that Biden is going to go with Sally Yates if Dems gets the senate. Yates will RIP new holes for GOP and will be the worst NIGHTMARE.

Biden is under heavy pressure to select a POC for the position. I think he’ll be going with Deval Patrick.

Yates is problematic to Biden for other reasons.  She’ll have to recuse from Durham’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation, for one. Secondly, Biden would have to hold off on that decision until after the Georgia elections. If the GOP holds the Senate, Yates won’t be confirmed.

because he has not announced it and waiting to see if Dems get the two seats in GA. If they don't, it will be someone else. I can see Yates, Biden and Harris getting along very well.

Yates stock rises if both Warnock and Ossoff win. But even then, I think Yates is too controversial a pick that would open up a can of worms for him.

I feel she's strong enough to go after the "American Taliban" that lurks amongst and to put an ice-pick to the GOP.
But getting her through a Reb Senate will be hard. Those cowards are afraid of her and of what she can do. Securing the two Georgia seats make this choice a no brainer.

Wow, that’s a new one. Who would that possibly be? I seem to remember the real Taliban destroying the Buddhas of Bamiyan in pursuit of their beliefs. You obviously must be referring to our far left who have toppled statues, smashed windows, started fires, and destroyed property in a number of cities - all in the name of their “cause”. Why don’t you stick to facts, rather than trying to be so witty?

for posting about the destruction of statues. I've been posting about it but no one else does it.  
I don't think it's fair to statues. They are not alive and can't defend themselves.  
But some of them, the oldest ones have curses that will follow their destroyer and their "heirs" for generations.  
So go ahead and destroy them.

My point was it’s not a ‘new one’ as you suggested in response to hyp.  
And, where do you get the idea that I am leaving out the left? If the Oklahoma bomber was a card carrying member of the ‘left’ - I will still label him as an American Taliban. The term Taliban here is more metaphorical than actual (religious police etc.)  Burning flags or knocking of statues can be distasteful and disturbing or even sometimes illegal. But equating them with ‘terrorism’ is a real stretch! To me it’s the act not the party that decides this.

I do apologize for not calling you Stronzo ... I didn’t know you’re a big shit Italian or otherwise... ROR!!! Btw, can I still call you Gonzo ?

Exactly!!! that is the reason that Biden has not announced the AG position and all other key positions has been filled. Yates pick depends on GA senate seats. Yates has ball, she is furious and she will go after all the American Taliban ONE BY ONE.  

The Senate of 50% to 50% won't be issue even with Joe Munchin voting against yates; it is most likely that Lisa from Alaska , Romney or Collins may switch to vote with democrats on this.  

I hope that the GA seats goes to Dems so we can implement so called socialist agendas  and have REAL FUN with American Talibans...LOL
