CDL: "This administrative process allows . . . for reimbursement of attorneys fees he incurred as a result of prosecutorial misconduct. ..." and many more UNSOURCED claims.

First of all, WHO paid the attorney fees? Trump? Just like he paid for renovation of the Wollman Ice Skating Rink.
.
CAMPAIGN donors were scammed into having a portion of their campaign donation diverted to Trump legal defense teams. (It was in fine print and some donors asked for their money back.) The Trump campaign ALSO made "automatic monthly donations" the default that donors needed to opt out of, also in small, misleading print. I believe that consumer affairs or the FEC or other gov agency forced the Trump campaign to refund the cheated donors.
.
The RNC contributed millions of dollars to Trump's defense. Over several years, Trump PACs paid more the $100 M to Trump's legal defenses. I don't think that Trump paid ANYTHING out of his own pocket.

There are too many accounts to cite them all. Here are just a few but there are MANY more.

Trump fundraising off of conviction after sinking millions of dollars in donor funds for legal costs
.
"As allegations against Trump mount and the costs of defense rise, his campaign and political committees have quickly ramped up legal spending — and fundraising efforts to cover those expenses. From January to April of this year alone, Trump’s political operation covered more than $20 million of legal fees for lawyers representing the former president and his allies — totaling more than $81 million since the start of the 2024 election cycle. That breaks down to about $171,000 per day going to legal fees. ...
.
"Trump’s political operation has spent about $184 million in legal fees since 2016, with the bulk of that spending in the years following the former president’s failed reelection bid in 2020. The bulk of those payments were made by Save America, Trump’s leadership PAC.
.
"Trump Victory, a joint fundraising committee used primarily for small-dollar donations through the 2020 election, and Save America have also transferred funds to the Republican National Committee to cover legal costs. Between 2016 and 2022, those committees transferred over $32.2 million to the Republican Party’s national committee legal account. ...

Trump's valid PERSONAL legal expenses are probably zero. He is not a "financially damaged party." [Records might even show that he BENEFITED financially from the lawsuits.]
.
Another concern is about how zealously Trump's DoJ -- puppet Pam Blondi and Trump personal attorney Bove -- will defend the People of the US against such a lawsuit.
Judge: Counsel, please ID yourself to the Court.
AG Blondi: Pam Blondi, for President Trump. Whoops! I mean, Pam Blondi, For The People.
... Judge: AG Blondi, your opening remarks, please.
AG Blondi: Golly, Judge, the People got nuttin' . We concede to my friend Donald Trump on all counts and think that he should get $250 BILLION, not $250 million. The People rest.
.
In the past few days, in one his many news conferences about this lawsuit, Trump claimed AGAIN that the 2020 election was stolen and that they will prove it. (Who is "they"? Trump's outside lawyers like Sydney Powell, Cheesbro, Eastman, etc, or Trump's DoJ lawyers?)

Re: This administrative process allows . . . .
for reimbursement of attorneys fees he incurred as a result of prosecutorial misconduct. Unfortunately, taxpayers foot the bill for this lawfare, but why should Trump has to eat the attorneys fees when he was wrongfully charged. Granted, the appellate courts have not formally ruled yet, but most legal experts think that Trump will be completely exonerated, and some of the corrupt prosecutors have already been exposed as corrupt. I don't want my tax dollars to pay Trump for his legal expenses, but this is the process that is set up when people are wrongfully charged and incur legal expenses as a result. When they are incarcerated, there is also consideration of loss of income, not only out of pocket expense. If he is denied during the administrative process, then he can sue, and will probably win anyway. If all he is asking for is an actual reimbursement, he should get it. If his claim includes exemplary or punitive damages, then he should go to trial and let a jury decide.
