Once again, Righty Retards prove the only thing they like about the Constitution is the 2nd.

PP wants to ban flag burning and have the punishment be a year in jail or lose your citizenship.

Next, he'll ban any comedian from mocking him.

 Heil Trump!!!

Once again, Loathsome Laffy revels in his disgusting bigotry, wallowing like swine in the slop of blatant racism and hate mongering.

Whether or not the act itself is protected by the First Amendment, Laffy has implicitly endorsed the desecration and destruction of the Stars and Stripes.

Meanwhile, forty years ago, a baseball player named Rick Monday became a household name after preventing a flag from being burned during a baseball game. I can still hear Vin Scully's voice describing the incident and can remember it like it was yesterday.

Here's a link to the video of the incident:

You are conversing with a dude that is "proud" when someone burns the flag, like Hamas or ISIS.

Is this really the guy you want to spend one more second even attempting to make civil dialogue?

Do you NOW see why several of us have stopped doing so?

I am with you on this one Laffy but I dont take any pride seeing the flag burned. The actual act saddens me, but nothing says we are free more than the act of being granted the choice to be able to destroy our own symbols, if we so chose, as protest. I am not shocked Mr. Trump would pander to his base with this sort of diatribe but not sure what Mrs. Clinton was thinking in 2005.

While she introduced her own Anti flag burning bill in 2005, she voted against such a bill in 2006.

As for flag burning, I agree this is Trump pandering to his base, why he would feel the need to right now is beyond me, but this is one of the hiccups he has had in between being downright Presidential over the last week or two. I fully support a person's right to protest by burning the flag, while I also support the right of other people to take him out behind the woodshed and beat the crap out of him for doing so. The same way I support Kaepernick's right to sit during the anthem, but I will defend my right to boo him for so.

Check again Jack, you'll find the syntax is third person, which is more than the little cockroach deserved.

I'm proud to live in a country where they don't get thrown in jail for it.  I also hate Nazis, but I am proud to live in a country where they are permitted to march in Skokie to demonstrate their First Amendment rights.  Standing up for someone's right to say something you agree with is NOT why we have the First Amendment.  We have it to stand up for someone's right to say something that pisses us off.  Once they no longer have that right, how long do you think it will be before YOUR right to speak is taken away?

"First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."

Like the time not long ago when you "changed your mind" about what the market would do when the Fed raised rates after it was clear to the rest of the world your original view of a 1,000-point plunge was clearly WRONG.  I predict you will also be proven wrong on many of your other Norstradamus-like bets such as Trump's YUGE conflicts of interest and what will happen to the ACA, among many, many other things.
Your boy is also proving to be a First-Amendment-hating nut job and his potential pick of Petraeus for State shows what a hypocrite he was when he gave Hillary shit about playing fast and loose with classified documents.  I actually like the General despite that but for Trump to consider him is laughable.  Still, anyone would be better than Giuliani, who is both nuts and also compromised by conflicts of interest.
I really can't wait for this to play out.

situations change and so do my opinions when they do. That fed meeting hasn't even happened yet, so it's not like I am changing my tune after the fact. If Hillary had won, the market would most definitely have tanked with the up coming interest rate hikes. Rising interest rates in a robust economy are accepted in stride. Interest rates in a dead economy like we have had for years results in money coming out of stocks and into fixed rate instruments causing the market to sell off.

The market is reacting favorably to Trump and if he gets even half of what he is asking for, we will most likely have at least three rate hikes between now and next summer and the market will take every one of them in stride. A zero rate environment is a very unhealthy thing, but thanks to Obamas economy it's been necessary to stave off another recession. The problem with zero rates is that the banks don't make enough return on loans to put their billions to work and the entire economy simply stagnates. Trump might not be able to fix everything and like most every POTUS before him, he will probably fuck some things up, but on the economy he is off to a GREAT start and the market instead of selling off as predicted by you and your ilk, the market is setting new records on almost a daily basis.

And now for some real facts about the history you have weakly tried to re-write:
1) You DID change your tune after ONE fact: after you predicted the market would dive by 1,000 points it went up by 500 on the next two days.  It was after THAT you "changed your mind" instead of admitting the painful truth: you had been WRONG. Nice euphemism though.
2) I don't think I know what my "ilk" is, but I made NO prediction on what the market would do.  Unlike you. So please don't pt words in my mouth.
3) He's "off to a GREAT start?" LMAO!  The market taking off because it imagines what he MIGHT do has nothing to do with Trump himself, who just announced today his Sec. of Treasury will be a Goldman, Sachs insider (and so is Bannon).  His continued tweets are beyond embarrassing and would cause any sentient observer to question his sanity.
Then again, anyone who still worships St. Reagan, that empty suit who put us on the path towards gigantic deficits probably thinks Donnie farts rainbows.
4) "Obama's economy" has created millions of jobs.  And the fact that growth has been stuck around 2% is hardly his fault.  Blame that on Republicans who have stonewalled everything for the past 6 years and a world economy that has been suffering worse than ours, making robust growth impossible.  You do know it's a world economy, don't you, Wu?

This is a perfect teachable moment, demonstrating how the Left’s expectations are the law and Constitution should or will change simply because someone of power or a group of people simply do not like the effect of the law or Constitutional meaning.

Laffy assumes Trump wants to change the First Amendment simply because Trump hates flag burning. This is because Laffy’s end game and the Left’s end game is to change the Constitution by any means to achieve their desired result.

Guess who else hated flag burning? Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia.
In 1989 Justice Scalia called a flag burner “a long haired, sandal wearing, weirdo that belongs in jail” and Scalia said “he would put him in jail if he were king.” Then Scailia turned around and voted to support the guy’s right to burn the flag. Scalia, a very strong strict constructionist that would be one of the last people to modify the Constitution does not have to like what he considers as the negative effects of some weirdo exercising his rights. That is the hallmark of an honorable person. Whereas most Liberals simply say about some Leftist issue, “well that doesn’t feel right, we need to change the meaning of the constitution.

So you're now saying the Dow WILL drop 1,000 points after the Fed raises rates 1/4 point next month?  Either way, it's not what you've said earlier.  You have hereby lost the right to call anyone else a liar (except, of course, Taffy, LOL).

My original statement, before the election was that "if" the Fed raised rates next month the Dow would drop a thousand points, that was before Trump hit the ground running and changed everything and now everyone's outlook is for robust economic growth as opposed to the anemic growth expected under Clinton. NOW it looks like the rate hike coming in a couple of weeks is only going to be the first in a series of very necessary hikes to keep the expected new economy from overheating.

I know you love (ala LTM) to twist words and "misrember" what others have said, but THAT is what I actually said and why. Beso mi culo mentiroso

No matter how how you twist, turn and contort yourself you have just basically agreed with me.
The Fed has basically already said it's raising rates next month by a 1/4 point so that rate rise is baked into the Dow.  But then you "changed your mind" because of Trump's win.  Thus, when you made your original prediction you were WRONG but are too big a weasel to admit it.
