1. That the prophet did not ignore the children and continue on.

2. That he brought a curse down on the children and God honored his curse.   The prophet did not show any mercy.

2 Kings 2:23-24
23: And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.  

24: And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

even if by choice like I think believers believe in it.  
God is cool and I know Inicky will post that  god does not exist.  
But like I said, I would love to believe in the god of the bible or any other.  
But I just can't commit to it and I like them all including the devil and all other spiritual beings that I hear or read about.  
But again, this god is cool and don't take ___ from humans and why should he/she/it.

why not worship the Brothers Grimm? At least they're not trying to make you worship some mythical Sky Daddy.
