Also with the OP we have no clue what is actually going to be built here since Japan hasn't responded. What cars, what ag, etc. What will we be shipping over there and vice versa? Until we hear the details you cant judge if it is good or bad. I have touched base on this before and HOPEFULLY it will happen. But there are vehicles produced in JAPAN and other countries that are not allowed in USA. Yes certain toyota's. Maybe that is what is going to be built here. OR maybe we will build parts here and ship them to Japan for those vehicles. Also sources on bluesky are like sources from FOX. Just saying. I just got it home and checked. AIOverview says it was built in the Baja Mexico factory. I was shopping on Edmunds.com and every Toyota Tacoma I came across was built in Mexico. And I'm well aware that many of the parts may have been made in the US or Japan. This exposes the irony of Trump's trade war, especially against Mexico and Canada. Many parts made in those countries cross between the US and those countries. And the real irony is the current regime is the result of Trump's re-negotiaton of NAFTA, But you don't hear him complain about what a lousy job he did resulting in his need to abandon it.
