suspects, the TSA is making everyone a potential terrorist. The result of these tactics of screening with full body scanners and full body pat-downs is giving the public a false sense of security. It makes me question the politics behind  this TSA security emphasis. Besides what meinarsche has stated about the economics, I suspect the Obama administration is less relectant to perform "rendering" of potential terrorists and the lethal elimination of terrorists that Bush adminisration was willing to do.

Terrorism is a low tech operation that needs to be fought with "gumshoe" tactics such as inflitrating terrorist cells and sophisticated intel systems. Full body scanners etc, reminds me of the French Maginot line. Yes, it will work, but the enemy will simply go around the defense architecture. Other targets besides avaition exposures will be assessed and programmed for destruction by terrorist cells. The Obama adminstration and Napilatano are idiots and are putting public safety at risk wih their bullshit.

I love Ron Paul and have voted for him several times.

That having been said, he is freakin' guileless, which is a problem.

I love that legislation, but it will never be passed.

What he needs to do is attach it as an addenda to something like "The Martin Luther King Recognition Act."

The guy has to get practical. LOL

All this complaining will come to a quick end, if someone is able to get a bomb or weapons on an aircraft.
Then the headlines will be "Why didn't the TSA do more to protect the public".  

If the bad guys know you are not going to search their shorts, can you guess where they will put the explosives?

In every way this on going surrendering of our rights, along with our dignity is shouting to the world 'THE TERRORISTS HAVE WON!'.

 It is said we're a nation of "Laws". Perhaps citizens should start filing law suites (and naming individual TSA workers) by the thousands. BURY this fuck'n blasphemy to our Bill of Rights in litigation. BOYCOTT the fuck'n airlines en-mass refusing to put up with this atrocious indignation any longer! Tell your employers 'NO! I will not be herded like cattle and stripped of my liberties and dignity every time I'm asked to travel; Send me by Amtrack!
