the "obsession with death"  due in large part to Hollywood, (and the music industry)  but not once have I heard the Democrats,  possibly the Republicans for that matter say anything about the sadistic level that Hollywood has turned to,  all in the name of profits,  but then again,  why should they?  when their profits are accumulating right along with Hollywood.  This sadism is also more accessible to children and young people than ever before. Think about it,  why would a parent take a 6 year old child to a midnight horror movie  (shame on them).  When a child starts that young with violent death,  it becomes palatable as with anything we are indoctrinated with,  yes I call it indoctrination.  

As usual, the establishment media and leftist political operatives are rushing to denounce gun rights as the culprit behind the tragedy, once again failing to address the underlying root cause – a sadistic, death obsessed culture that allows young men to be drawn into bizarre fantasy worlds where violence is seen as an alluring adventure.  We,  "the people"  are the only ones who can stop this,  don't allow your children to see this kind of "entertainment"  (for lack of better words)  don't feed the pockets of Hollywood,  consequently,  "the establishment"  who want to blame everything except the source.

There is always a quick knee jerk reaction to trample the 2nd amendment rights, but always a staunch support of the 1st amendment rights.  The right of the media to inundate the youth with crazy violent video games and movies, and other types of media.  We've saturated our youth and numbed them to violence, can we expect any other type of outcome?   Perhaps this goth kid was simply on a "call of duty" black ops mission.

Collection of selfish individuals looking out for themselves cannot be considered a society. Society is harmonious where they don't kill each other.

and children on medicine like Ritalin, Adderall, Zoloft, etc..  That stuff was not around when I was a kid.  Combined with the violence in movies.   War movies and Religious movies should be classified as HORROR.  I walked out of Saving Private Ryan in the first 5 minutes of the theater.  And my eyes stayed covered during The Passion of Christ.  Our news media is non-stop violence.  Please give yourself a few minutes to watch this very short video How to Restore Faith in Humanity.

I have candles burning everywhere, but I can't turn on the news and watch the agony like I did with 911.  I can't find the right words to pray for the little souls, but I have a yearning in my soul as I give them a moment of silence often.

Way too many kids, at earlier and earlier ages being prescribed stimulants and antidepressants, along with having their amygdulas stimulated for prolonged periods of time through violent video games, objectifying human life, which is exactly what we start to do with any people we are contemplating going to war against.
Some of these kids may come to some point in their life where something blurs their line between fantasy and reality, be it drugs, mental illness, etc.

But, another problem may have been revealed through an issue that the shooting had. He couldn't feel the same degree of pain as most of us. And, here we have a nation where most of us avoid painful situations at all cost. Anyone who has had to bear arms knows the pains that go with it, whereas those playing a single shooter video game do not have that experience. They are in a safe, warm place with plenty of food and drink around. And, the drug companies provide a means to remove pain, when many times it is a warning to us that something about what we're doing needs to change before we experience permanent damage or death.
