Obviously all that carousel with Secretary of State, including public declamations (or rather "presentations") of those against choosing Romney meant as payback and also to show Romney how much obstacles Trump had to overcome and how much sacrifice to do "for Romney". In short, if he does end up appointing Romney, the intent is to make Romney feel like he owes Trump big time. After that expect Romney to beat Hillary in the department of "the most traveled secretaries of state". That is of course if Trump actually offers Romney the job which still is a big "if".  
   
 But remember Romney is also an experienced businessman and he too knows how to play the game a bit. Imagine this scenario: Trump offers the State to Romney, initially Romney appears as though he agrees and then says "sorry I've changed my mind".  
   
 If there was ever anything that could undercut Trump in the eyes of a Trumpanzee - this could be it! An obvious loss of face in the hands of a fellow businessman. Don't forget that the reason Trumpanzee loves  Trump is not because of Trump's stands on some issue. Trumpanzee entrusts his (or her) messiah with whatever decision making the messiah deems fit to make. Because Trump is a WINNER, he'd make decisions to "make America great again." And now, if all of the sudden Trump appears as a loser, and a loser in his own game, a loser to a colleague - that could be big! No tweeting would be able to make that right.
