I doubt if any doctor could keep him alive and have him perform in the manner in which he expected to perform in his concert appearances. Though, I'm not saying what his doctor did was ethical, I'm not certain how criminal it was. He should have just walked away from that job, and let Jackson find a different MD stooge to do the job.
