One thing I have noticed in South America, there doesn't seem to be any of this stuff going on. Oh well, I guess the "great satan" along with Europe are a big enough enemy without them having to take on all of South America as well.

I recently came across an article in a magazine that spoke about how in Afghanistan there is a T.V. show that portrays the life stories of women. The actors in this show are women who have been threatened by their community and families for being on the show as being "loose" but they move forward as activists with a message about rebuilding and progress and have so much courage to take center stage on this show.
