I don't give a crap what he or any ohter 'celeberty' thinks of politics, but the reaction of the intervier (Charlie Gibson) was priceless.

To paraphrase the interview, Gibson was asking Schilling what it felt like to win & how he felt being a hero.  Schilling said that he wasn't a hero & that the men & women serving this country especially in Iraq are the true heros.

Gibson pressed a little further & at the end of the interview Schilling said, "vote Bush".  Well, I thought Gibson was going to shit in his pants.  You could just read the expression on his face saying, hey you can't say something like that unless it's Anti-Bush or Pro-Kerry.

Gibson was stunned, and oddly enough speechless.  There were a few seconds of dead air since they cut away from Schilling since they I suppose either concluded the interview or didn't want to hear anything else from him.  Finally after what I am sure seemed like an eternity to Gibson he finally regained his exposure & passed it off to Robin @ the news desk.

Serisously, I though they would have to cut to commercial since Charlie Gibson was so stunned & just didn't know how to respond.

Wow, it was interesting to watch...... and people say there isn't a media bias.  Sure, uh huh.

Uh- I think he was thinking what poor taste it was to make a purely political shill on a portion of the show that was about sports.

Or he was just staggered as I am that a guy I think of as a pretty smart guy is so ignorant.

He's entitled to his opinion, and even to spout it on the GMA show.  But I am entitled to think less of him for it- and I certainly do!

that beams through the cracks of your closet door.

Believe me, we on the left won't think any less of you ...

Yes, the Republican are coming.  We're on the march. There's no stopping us.  Freedom, freedom for all.  Long live freedom.  We Republicans have always been friends to gays.

Most gays realize that gay advocates fighting to be allowed to marry a fellow gay is bogus and just a publicity stunt.  Gays can transfer property, set up living wills, etc. Their significant other can have all the rights vis a vis legal instruments and blah blah blah.

ALL YOU GAYS OUT THERE- VOT FOR GEORGE W. BUSH CAUSE HE'S A GOOD MAN.  HE'S GONNA BE A CHAMPION OF EQUALITY JUST LIKE HE HAS BEEN.

And the Repbucians have a big tent too.

Vote George Bush

Vote George Bush

Geezer, Geezer, Geezer.  I noticed you are still working ?  A man at your age, still working !!!  Well, I suppose you've been gettin high of your own supply for so damn long - with such an expensive habit you didn't save for retirement.

As far as Gay Republicans, I would venture to say a large majority of them either don't consider themselves gay, or they vote their pocket book (or both).  Sure, many R's are wonderful people and are Gay friendly - But they are not being represented well !!!

That GWB represents a Gay friendly Republican party is about as believable as ``Operation Iraqi Freedom'' [I mean give me a fuckin break.  1 Bushie on this board even said/suggested AIDS research is a waste of resources/time - and anothers compassionate conservatism is well documented here].  I could somewhat understand a gay Republican in the past, but today - yo no se.

VOTE JOHN KERRY - HE SUPPORTS OLD FOGIES WHO STILL NEED TO WORK CAUSE THEY BEEN GETTIN HIGH FOR SO LONG THEY COULDN'T SAVE FOR RETIREMENT

They are openly gay and are in the Republican Party--  The GOP--  They call themselves the Log Cabin Republicans.  They are accepted and welcomed.  Long live the Republican Party!!!  We have a big tent!!!

Also, more and more Black Americans are joining the Republican party, GOPAC. But I just think of all people in the Republican party as--- Republicans.  Yeah!

Long live George W. Bush

Godspeed to George W. Bush.  On to Victory for George W. Bush and Godspeed.
