oh yeah let's not forget,  some kids go to college early.  I was a freshman in college when I was underage.

I was still in college when I was 19 so college is considered a school.  if that's new to you maybe you should try taking some classes or reading some more books instead of reading bits and pieces of info off an online dictionary. it helps to develop a more coherent understanding of things.

Now there's hope.  Also,  I'm by definition an American too so I hope noone here's dumb enough think it was a racial remark.  

You really think that exposing young kids ( who aren't even mature enough to drive, brains haven't fully made proper connections yet) to assault rifles is a good idea?  

Guns are designed to be good at only one thing,  shooting a bullet.  
Why would anyone want one other than to kill something or someone (or to use as a deterrent)?  It's a deadly weapon. cars can be thought of as deadly weapons too under immature hands and that's why you don't see 6th graders driving.  

I don't expose my kid to anything potentially too violent and don't keep guns around where he can get access to them easily.  Kids are by nature very curious.  They want to play with it,  learn more about it,  and when they get mad,  they blurt things like "I'm gonna shoot him with a gun". Given an opportunity,  a young kid just might do that. maybe if he's old enough I may take him to a shooting range as a sport.  

6th graders are not old enough to deal with adult related things in a mature way. It sends the wrong message.  

Would you raffle an adult porn video at a kid event?

  The most recent innocent student  stabbed in the neck until dead was murdered for refusing her assailant her company at the Junior prom .  Her killer armed with his easily accessible weapon of choice , a knife .
 Before he became a murderer he  was a bored troubled teen , diagnosed with ADHD, quickly   prescribed  psychotropic medications.  

  With  media beginning  to saturate  air waves with  knife killings in our schools ,quack shrinks over prescribing meds  approved by corrupt scientists,knives will soon be  depraved lunatics weapon of choice.

  When I was a toddler I was taught guns  aren't toys , how to shoot when I was five. I got a  .22 rifle for my seventh birthday  , a .410 Mossberg when I was  10 .  
 I  spent many days with my Dad at the shooting range,  having fun annihilating  paper targets and clay pigeons .
 I  never hurt myself or an innocent bystander with a gun.

   I got my drivers  license when I was 12 , years before my friends who were still in school .
  After watching "The Great Escape" I changed the date on  my Birth certificate .  
 
    I didn't have to go through the boring ordeal , waiting for the next chapter with the slow poke drivers ed teacher, in low gear with another short book.    

  If my Dad had taught me how to handle knives when I was a child I wouldn't have scars on my hands .
