More hours cut back for the working poor. Last I checked it was not the 1% working at Denny's.

In addition to cutting hours, they are going up on prices. Last time I checked, the 1% wasn't eating at Dennys either.

I've always said you don't make companies pay taxes, they just collect it from the end consumer.

I still don't believe this ACA is a good policy. This will only raise the cost for the consumer, like you said the 1% does not eat at Dennys. Thankfully I have not been to a Dennys in years, I remember seeing Seniors in the morning, and young inebriated adults in the late evening hours. Neither of these groups have money .

The only reason you pretend elitists are knocking Denny’s and in a previous thread, Applebee’s is because Snow or I mention it.
I of course cannot prove it but I have no doubt you all have been to these places and enjoyed it, much more that you have the courage to admit it.

The fact is that these places are successful and contribute to the economy. Now because of the ACA they (and others too) are forced to make cuts and or raise prices all because
OBAMA-DON”T-CARE.

ALL food service businesses operate on thin margins. Their variable, or manageable costs are food and labor. We know food costs are going up ALL THE TIME. ACA is raising the cost of labor.
That has ALWAYS meant cut backs in hours and those who remain MUST DO MORE to keep their jobs.

Minimum wage was $1.25 or so when I started working. Now it's $8. And we still have poor.

Liberal policies ALWAYS fuck the poor.

It's everywhere on the 'net that the Affordable Care Act would increase the price of a pizza by about 14 cents a pie.  Yeah, 14 cents.  Yet Papa Johns is claiming they will have to cut hours.  Some coal place laid off 100+ employees.  Then you have this nitwit.  Look, we get it, you're mad that Obama won.  You're mad that you have to pay liveable wages, cause you know, great American Icons like Henry Ford never did.  If you're so mad, sell it and walk away.  But you won't.  Because the dirty little secret is that even with this new law coming, you'll still make plenty of money.  It's just that now you'll have to settle for an S550 instead of a S63.  Right Wing nut jobs will always claim that taxes hurt jobs - but all the successful people I know don't give a rat's a$$ about tax rates - they DO THE MATH and figure if they can make more then they invest, they do it.  Look at Wynn - complained left and right about not wanting to build a new Philly Casino cause of high taxes, yet lo and behold, he's building it.  Why?  Cause even though he'll have to spend more, he's still going to PRINT money.  
Intelligent people know "trickle down" doesn't work.  It's only the die hard fools who don't run a business or have never been "poor" that don't realize this.  Think about it, "trickle down" started 10 years ago under W; how much better are the poor/middle class today than they were back 10 years ago?  The super rich aren't hurting.  Neither are the corporations.  Only the most jaded, my side is always right Republican still believes in trickle down.  The rest of the world (even this 30 year GOP supporter) understands trickle down is a joke.
