I'm all for giving cops wide latitude BUT from what I saw in the video, he put his hands on this man unnecessarily. Robinson lacks the temperment to be given police power.
I wonder how much more video proof will be needed to make changes with the Police departments around the country.
This old man was no treat to this clown cop and for him to man handle this old guy like this is crazy. So this is what happens when you give a cop too much power without any real consequences for excessive force!
True, some cops are. But so are some doctors that sell pills on the side, lawyers that steal from trust accounts, nurses that have killed patients ... but do condemn all in their professions because of the crimes of a few?
If the people in these professions are caught they go to jail most of the time!
Most cops know they can use excessive force and kill people. They are not even charged most of the time now and make up self defense stories. Also cops caught on video using excessive force still does not make a difference most of the time. When no weapon is found on the person they killed. So again you can't compare it.

According to FBI stat last year...a total of 79 cops were killed. Only 29 death occurred resulting from a direct interaction of a suspect. The remainder were traffic accidents and the like. 410 civilians, a widely underestimated number, were killed by police. Who is really as risk here?

The police are at the most risk, especially so when they are protecting civilians in high crime areas or investigating classless white trash domestic disputes .
The police save thousands upon thousands of innocent peoples lives from murdering criminals, every month.
