I actually agree with you, if Obama or any politician wins, no matter the margin, they should govern on the platform they ran on and his conscience dictates.

HOWEVER, Obama is not a king or dictator, we have three branches of government.
Boehner and the Republican majority also won their elections.

So why is it that when Obama sticks to his principles because he won, he is "doing the right thing" and while Boehner sticks to his principles he is "stupid and irresponsible".

Do basically you are saying if someone wins the election for POTUS they should be able to do whatever they want. If you would the Constitution maybe you could understand why it does not work that way.

If you want to discuss politics, try understanding basic concepts like the branches of government and the balance of powers.

The founders set up a system where it is difficult to make laws and changes because they realized "mob rule" was very undesirable. They knew that laws would be changing as fast as the weather and it would lead to mass confusion in the population and the market place.

So how do you govern, THEY WAY IT IS SET UP!!!

You keep saying there is a MANDATE to raise taxes on the rich. While I believe there is popular support for this, if it is a real mandate as you claim, why did the Republican maintain the majority in the house? Perhaps because the mandate you keep claiming really does not exist. DUH!!!!!
