Two of the worst candidates in history. I mean Hillary lost to Trump with the entire press corp pulling for her. And by all rights Biden should have a 50 point lead, but there's still no certainty he'll beat Trump this fall. It the Dems weren't such far left nutballs this election would be in the bag -- what with the social media monopoly and the MSM monopoly all gunning for Trump. You have to marvel how stunningly awful Biden is as a candidate for this to be the case.

Pence is a fortunate choice to debate against a female. He has a genteel manner. It's true it is a no win position for Republican males -- too soft and they're accused of sexism, too harsh and they're accused of sexism. But being soft is the lesser crime. . On the flip side, the Democrats are hoping Harris will come on like a prosecutor from hell. But likability is important in an election (as Hillary amply demonstrated) especially since she would likely become the next president a few weeks after Joe is elected and resigns (due to dementia.) . Normally the VP choice doesn't win elections. But this time everyone knows she will be president soon.

She is solid law and order. She is 100 tikes smarter that Pence and not only devour him in a debate, she will likely end up prosecuting him as well.
Harris as VP is the WORSE CHOICE for Biden. She does not add anything to electoral map and she will cut Biden head in office to become president. Harris is one COLD BITCH and probably the only Democrat that I hate.
I think it's all about what the VP can bring to the CAMPAIGN, not the administration. Most of the candidate VPs can wipe the floor with Pence in a debate because (1) Pence has to defend Trump and (2) they don't. . I don't exactly know what qualities are needed to be a good AG (knowledge of the law; criminal law; choosing the best Associates; letting THEM do their job; etc.) but I don't think you need to be the best courtroom prosecutor / Perry Mason. Some of her fame and notoriety is from her courtroom prosecutions. I'm thinking that Harris would be a good choice for AG "and end up prosecuting" them all.

Harris is very controversial and would be an anchor on Biden. I agree that Keisha Lance Bottoms would be a good choice. As a real plus, she has been vocal about black upon black violence which is a major but not often publicized issue. One thing I know is certain. If Joe picks Elizabeth Warren, then we will have reason to question his mental soundness.

Clyburn essentially gave signal to Biden to pick whoever he wants without a color of her skin and my bet is that he already knows that who the VP is and Biden has asked for his blessing and the VP is not African American. My gut feeling say that the VP it is either Gretchen Whitmer (while she is not African American-she got 82% of African American votes in Detroit and she is from swing state), Duckworth, NM Governor or by a very remote chance it is Warren.
