The swing voters that haven't made up their minds don't listen to campaign events, follow politics on Twitter, or watch the politically shows. They haven't a clue what 2025 project is. So keep banging that drum. Use up all your oxygen on irrelevant shit.
Project 2025 was a set of policy proposals by the Heritage Foundation. The same think tank that came up with what would become Obamacare. Project 2025 was developed by dozens of other conservative advocacy groups. Thise groups weren’t in agreement with one another. But the project asked this group or that group about what should be done with say the Commerce Dept. Or what should be done about Defense spending. Or what changes should be made at the Interior Dept. It was standard think tank dribble that’s so boring to read that no one could get through it.
Then the Democrats come along and just decide to start making shit up about it. “Page 167 says it lets Trump to come to your house and shoot your labradoodle”. Shit like that. And Democrats being the low information idiots that they are ate it up because they’re too dumb and lazy to do a 2 second Google search. Republicans were stuck with disproving the endless lies that Democrats just kept making up. So Trump did the smart thing and disavowed the whole thing.
The only reason why Project 2025 ever existed was because Trump had trouble getting things up and running the first time in 2016. This was due in part to inexperience in government, and partly from the Russian collusion hoax coming out of the Clinton campaign. The thought was to avoid this the second time around to lay out a set of policy proposals that Trump could pick and choose from and hit the ground running as soon as he’s sworn in. What they hadn’t counted on was Democrats saying the proposal would legalize Trump breaking into your house and fingering your cat.
And this dictator talk is just...dictator talk? My feeling is that the media is giving trump a pass because in the back in their mind, he could make life hard on the media if he has full control of the FCC. And before you say "1st Amendment"...you think trump gives a shit. And of course he'll hijack the FDA and with that, the abortion pill Mifepristone. And if he took over the Federal Reserve, he'll kidnap the world economy. And if you look closer, per-child care take a hit. There's a ton more but you have to ask yourself, why is trump running away from it? I wish there was more discussion on it, from BOTH SIDES.

The FCC is a part of the executive branch. The chief executive is the President. Trump was President before, but that didn’t stop the media from making up endless lies about him. And guess what? It’s driving them out of business. Why would Trump stop them from putting themselves out of business?
How could the FDA be more hijacked than it is now? They approved a gene therapy shot that’s not a vaccine that keeps giving people heart attacks to stop a Covid virus that doesn’t harm anyone who isn’t already 90 years old or circling the drain.
There’s a lot of people on the right who want to abolish the Fed completely. I dunno if that was talked about in Project 2025, but I can’t see that happening. Trump didn’t abolish it before, did he?
There’s not any discussion on it because those proposals are dead in the water. Democrats are just sad about that because they know nothing else about the Harris campaign has any traction. Guess what? When you’re in power for 4 years and you govern like you’re trying to hate fuck the population into being ever more miserable they’re are going to resent you for it.
