to switch to Conservatives.  However, a Conservative switching to a Liberal rarely if ever happens. It must have something with the basic human instinct to survive and not depend on others to take care of you.  Can you imagine if our ancestors were a bunch of parasites?  We would have been eaten by saber tooth tigers while we were waiting for the government of defend us, or starved to death waiting for a hand out.  Humankind would have never progressed beyond the caveman.
