Politicians like Clinton and Obama think more is better but they're pedantic and boring; eventually people will tune out. Trump appeals to dummies with short attention spans so he could do well at the debates. Trump appears to be nonchalant about the debates but his camp says he's been prepping since the RNC ended.

I think she just needs to be prepared for any possible questions from the moderator, and any attacks from Trump, while not looking flustered, condescending, contemptuous, etc. In other words, don't treat him like one of the "deplorables." Treat him like a worthy adversary. Stand toe to toe with him, which means not trying to put herself above him, and talking down to him. Let him reveal himself to be ill-equipped in temperament and preparedness to be Commander in Chief.
As an aside, I would not trust any of the info the two camps are putting out regarding their debate preparation, and strategies.
Donny will be forced to go extreme right, maybe too extreme for anyone but his own cult. If Secretary Clinton stresses the most Liberal aspects of her agenda in a forthright and reasonable way, she won't appear too extreme on anything and will magnify the difference between her policies on the major issues and Donny's promises that he alone will magically make everything perfect for everyone under one bigoted god and one greenback flag.
