Some would argue that she, being president, should be held to a higher standard. The evidence I saw in the Harvard Crimson piece was quite damning. It wasn't a one off thing that could be excused by her making a mistake. She has a history of plagiarizing over years and on multiple occasions. Several were really egregious.  
I'd like to hear the argument on why she should stay but what I hear from people on my side is that this is a political hit which doesn't carry a lot of water with me. Regardless of where the info came from, the only standard should be if the accusations are true or false. Provided the info is accurate, and I believe it is, I think she should go.

She was hired because she is black, female, and a Marxist.  Not because she has any talent.

Harvard first heard about the allegations in late October of THIS year. She was hired months before that. You and Lester should sit in the corner as you both have failed this exam miserably.

Again it's obvious she was a diversity hire.  That means her scholarly qualities were lacking but her skin color, gender, and Marxism got her the job.

There, I said it again. But I have still haven't seen any evidence whatsoever that she was a "diversity hire." Lester certainly doesn't have any or he would have produced it now.

Once again the progressives use coded language to protect their own.  Plagiarism becomes "duplicative language" when they do it.

It's being reported that diversity hire and plagiarist Gay is resigning. No doubt she will be replaced by a fellow Marxist diversity hire of mediocre scholarly accomplishments.
