— Bombed Syria without Congressional authorization
— Gave up on the $15 minimum wage
— Did not send out the relief checks he promised

So who cares what they think. They have no influence except, perhaps, with partisan hacks like you.
Second, of COURSE they don't like that Biden bombed Syria. And who cares? Trump did it plenty of times.
Third, Biden didn't "give up on the $15 minimum wage." He simply doesn't control the Senate parliamentarian. For shame!
Last, he can't send out checks by snapping his fingers. Congress has to act first. That's how our government works. Or did you never learn how a bill becomes a law?

1. I identified it as a progressive point of view.
2. Biden supporters repeatedly criticized Trump for unilateral military action without Congressional authorization. Doesn’t it make sense to you that activists would expect Biden to act in conformance with a higher standard, not sink to Trump’s standard?
3. Your opinion he didn’t give up. Progressive opinion is that he did. Kamala has the power and authority to overrule the Parliamentarian, but the Biden administration is CHOOSING not to take the fight that far.
4. Biden chose to include the stimulus checks in a large and cumbersome bill that was sure to take time to get passed. Day One he could have introduced a streamlined checks only bill.  The Democrats decided they didn’t want to expedite.

1) I said MUCH more than that Gravel was simply "progressive." You just chose not to respond to the rest presumably because you have no response.
2) Biden is not responsible for what all of his supporters say.
3) They have made a choice not to fight for the new minimum wage on narrow parliamentary grounds and will try again by attaching it to "must pass" legislation like military spending. It's been done that way in the past. What matters is that it gets done.
4) Not passing all the provisions in one big bill would actually have taken MORE time, if you have a clue about how the Congressional process works. The main thing is to get it all done before unemployment funds run out in mid March and they will do that. The $600 stimulus checks sent in January already boosted family income that month by 10%.

I acknowledged Gravel was progressive, and in fact noted that in my OP.  Nicky says there’s MUCH MORE to it.

First of all, the Gravel Institute is a left-wing "think tank" founded LAST YEAR!
So who cares what they think. They have no influence
What is this SO MUCH MORE that Nicky speaks of??? Let’s break it down
1. Left wing think tank. (It was noted in the OP that the opinion represented a progressive view point. That’s what left wing think tanks do. Although redundant for Nicky to point out, he’s correct that the think tank I quoted was left wing.)
2. Founded LAST YEAR!!! ( by a former Senator with five decades of political experience). Not sure why Nicky felt that is so important he needed to caps lock it. Whether it was founded last year, or fifty years ago, the quote reflects the sentiments of the progressive left. Democrat Congressional Reps have been tweeting similar sentiments since the bombing was announced.
3. They have no influence.  (Yet they captured the sentiments of very influential people in politics, and a substantial swath of Democratic voters).  Side note, the goal of the Gravel Institute is to be the left wing mirror of Praeger University, a right wing organization that has influenced and shaped the viewpoints of many conservative voters.

1) Left wing think tank. Yes, and it modifies "founded LAST YEAR," so obviously (except for you) the left wing part is secondary. The LAST YEAR part means (equally obviously) that makes it lacking in credibility because it has virtually no track record.
2) "a former Senator with five decades of political experience" is nice until you recall that Mike Gravel's Senatorial career was from 1969 to 1981. That's eons ago in politics. Oh, and he's 90 years old.
3) "They have no influence." Please read what you wrote here. It utterly fails to rebut what I wrote. But please show the class how "they captured the sentiments of very influential people in politics..." etc. If he's so influential, how come when he ran for Prez last year nobody noticed and he dropped out after four months?
As I said, this is weak, even for you.

it has NEVER in history been tried to pass minimum wage legislation as part of reconciliation because the rules just don't permit it. Why they bothered this time is beyond me. Most people are saying it's a great bill even without a minimum wage raise.

"its a great bill.'  Only most progressives are saying that.  Moderate Dems in Congress have reservations about passing this.  Its still a long way off.  That's why they should pass this piecemeal and let each item stand on its own.  If its as good as you say, it will all pass, the stuff that ONLY you and the far left likes, will not pass.  That's the way it should be.  The American public's stimulus checks are being held hostage by the power grab being attempted by the Dem leaders.   Are you okay with that?  Everyday, people are committing suicide because of the despair from financial pressure, as they watch their homes get foreclosed and their cars repossessed because they have to choose between feeding their families and other necessities of life, while Nancy Pelosi eats $20 a pint ice cream in her mansion.  The government has the means to give them a little help but the rich Dem elites don't give a shit.  That's the bottom line.

It's the size of the increase that's at issue. Manchin is already in with upping it to $11. Biden then goes to Manchin and says "We are at $15, you are at $11........let's compromise and call it $13." Doesn't that make sense? Manchin WANTS to compromise. That is his schtick. That's what "moderates" do. Then both sides can claim victory. Manchin can say he was looking out for small businesses, Biden et al can claim an almost doubling of the min wage. Then Kamala can overrule the parliamentarian. That's "America First" that everyone can rally behind.

Your faux compassion is no more than an obvious rhetorical ploy. As for suggesting the bill be done piecemeal, why? It just passed as a package and the Senate will do that same. It's so funny to watch you bleat about how bad the bill is, then about how to get things done more quickly, only to propose a way to slow it down. Not to mention that putting things into a package is the way things are done in Congress.
No one gives less of a shit than Republicans.

Ro Khanna, formerly an Obama Administration official, is a Congressman from California (a tad bit more influential than the Gravel Institute)

There is a deep problem in our democracy when the Executive branch is willing to bend over backwards to defer to arcane Senate rules to deny Americans a $15 wage but at the same time ride roughshod over Congressional rules & procedures to launch military strikes abroad

And guess what, Biden won't cut Khanna off at the knees. And neither will Pelosi.
Do you have any clue how disingenuous your post is?
That was a rhetorical question.
