Of course the NIH  knew about chloroquine- it’s been around for 80 years.  As to its efficacy in treating COVID-19, that is medically and scientifically unproven.  Since it is anti-malarial medication it is designed to bring raging fevers down fast.  The effects of this on the cardiopulmonary system is unclear and deaths from its use have been reported.

Doctors tend to shy away from wide use of unproven treatments that may kill the patient, so yeah further testing is being done before it is recommended.

Fauci was way to easy on her.

This could as well, correct?"  (Now ignorant Ingraham changes her tune to agree with Fauci SARS "pretty much" disappeared when in the last question she said there was no vaccine for SARS).

 
Fauci then kicked her so hard he broke his foot off in her bony ass by telling her that Covid-19 is UNPRECEDENTED in how easily it is transmitted from person to person:  
"Yeah. You know, anything COULD, Laura, but I have to tell you the degree of efficiency of transmissibility of this is really unprecedented in anything that I've seen. It's an extraordinarily efficient virus in transmitting from one person to another. Those kind of viruses don't just disappear."

 
Ingraham was trying to latch onto anything to downplay the coronavirus.  She was hoping it would disappear like SARS but Fauci bitch slapped her with his answer about how easily Covid-19 is transmitted.

Since I am in the health care field I can attest to the fact that there will always be claims of miraculous “”cures” from unproven medications or treatments. Spontaneous remission from an illness is a well documented phenomenon, but if someone is undergoing some concurrent therapy, more often or not they want to credit that therapy. However, I guess if I were on my death bed and sinking fast, I’d try anything.

And it also can cause coronary arrhythmia that can kill you. But, go ahead, and give it to everyone who's sick. You could end up killing more of them than the virus does.

They will knock down a cost effective drug because it keeps them from making millions from vaccine patents and stock in the vaccine companies.  They should be talking about vitamin C, Zinc, exercise, drinking plenty of water and proper diet.

It well documented that Dr Fauci almost got fired years ago for trying to fast track a vaccine. George Bush kept him from being fired.  Also Dr Brix and Dr Redford were under investigation by the DOD  for given faulty data for a HIV vaccine.  

One good thing about Dr Brix and Dr Redford is that they are pushing for a data driven and monitoring approach to re-open the US.

Now getting to the dangers, they recommend that you don't give the drug to people with underling heart issues.  Other cases it works fine.  

It has been the game changer in this crisis and will continue to be so.
