Question is whether the country should continue to take the administration on faith, as it urges, or what?

GaGambler below suggests the war should be "managed" better.

My question is, how?  What can be better managed, and what will it take?

Should we entrust the prosecution of this management who didn't do this right the 1st time, for whatever reason?

And, what do we do now?  Frankly, I have my doubts that having no ideas is a good reason to sit in a kill zone.   And I suspect that the people doing the actual sitting would go along with that.

People who think "supporting the troops" means leaving them there indefinitely on any president's word need their heads forcibly extracted from their asses.

If you listen to Rush everyday or just a couple times a week you would more than realize Rush is very pro military and he also shows that with his wallet.. We all know there are "some" as in a small amount of  good soldiers who whine about their  mission.. I say give them some cheese and a pat on the back.

Rush makes a big deal about contributing to pro-soldier causes but is absolutely silent aqbout the shameful way our soldiers are equipped and treated, being thrown back into combat without proper rest or equipment.

 Rush is not a news journalist so I don't expect him to mention everytime there is a lack of proper care for one of our soldiers..If you are honest you will realize there has always been some problems with the V.A and there has always  been soldiers who were not ready to go back as quick as they were expected but they do!!!

  Actually I don't eat up everything Rush says and there are things Rush says that I do not agree with but I do like the fact he gets a lot of mainstream news out there that the mainstream news doesn't tell us.So a peon like you is calling me a idiot because I don't agree with a few of  the whining soldiers.. Vehicle armor is a small issue next to the TOTAL lack of preparation and thought that went into this campaign.

Notice that it took 4 days to wrap up Gulf 1.   It took 3 WEEKS to get to Baghdad, and 4 years later, longer than it took us to knock over the Axis, we're still fucking around trying to figure out what we're doing.


Yeah, I have my doubts about the people "managing" this war.  If you want to use that word.

Why don't you take some of that cheese and join the troops, see what YOU think about it?

I wasn't putting him down because HE is educated .. I was saying he MUST be a college boy because he is young and uneducated..There is a whole lot more to LEARN out there besides what HE learns  in school and if you are young and most likely easily led its easy for people to confuse you especially if you only listen to one side..I am speculating he is still in College. I would wager HE HAS NEVER MET A SOLDIER!!
 Note.. If he graduates I give him credit..I wish I did.. Well I wish I had graduated from High School but I thought I knew everything when I was 14 when I quit..

I am 54, own a successful business and graduated with an Engineering degree. I hold an honorable discharge from the USAF (Vietnam era vet, though I served in Europe). You, sir, are an arrogant tool and I am unsurprised at your educational level. I find it telling that you do not mention military service in your little resume - perhaps you have something in common with Rush.

The highest rank I held was Sgt - I never did the ROTC thing.
My Vietnam era service means that I volunteered with the possibility of serving in VietNam. It also means I served with many people who did serve there and learned a great deal about it from those who were there.
As to what tool - I stand corrected. Tools are useful things, you serve no purpose other than to inflame. Just another chickenhawk who's keen to see others bleed and die.

ie, a non-combat Vietnam era NCO.  Others among us have different experience.

IMHO, on the internet, "nobody knows you're a dog", so assertions of experience or observation are unverifiable, and probably marginally relevant anyway - like comparing dick size, when your SO actually only cares about your wallet size.  The only real reason to believe anything is that there's nothing at stake, so why lie?  

So the question is focusing on the issue presented, without reference to facts that are not admitted, stipulated, or noticed (ie uncontestable, eg the earth is generally spherical.)  And forums are crappy media for doing that, especially escort forums.

The moral of the story is, TER P&R is not a place for people with delicate feelings.  And what of it?
