...over upcoming elections. Tomorrow, there's a special election to fill Cong. Mike Pompeo's seat after he was appointed CIA director. The seat is in Kansas's 4th Congressional District where Trump trounced Clinton 60%-33%. The election should be a lead pipe cinch for the GOP, but Trump sucks so badly and is dragging down the GOP to the point that they have to bring in heavy hitters like Mike Pence and Ted Cruz in order to try to keep the seat in the Republican column.
Also, Republicans are shitting their pants about the election next week in Georgia's 6th, a solidly red seat held since 1979 by Newt Gingrich, Johnny Isakson and Tom Price. A Democrat is leading in the polls, and if he gets 50% of the vote, he'll win without without having to face a runoff.
