I participated in one and thought it, and the demonstrations in general, were pretty amazing. Hundreds of thousands of people in over 700 events across all 50 states, organized in only a few days.  And the people at the event I attended were very enthusiastic, energized, and also respectful. (E.g. There was an "in your face" anti-abortion demonstration in the midst of the event I attended, and everyone left them alone and let them have their say.)

If this is any indication of what's in store for the run up to the mid-terms and 2020, Republicans should be very afraid.  In the immortal words of Peter Finch in "Network", a lot of Americans are as mad as hell and aren't going to take this any more.

I have more important things to do than be concerned with the fucktards in the streets.

The news reports I read said the left leaning persuasion was the side infringing  on the right's of the religious persuasion to protest by legal document.

If I had to choose one side or the other, you don't want to know the answer.

Statistically speaking there will be more democrats in the house voted-in than republicans. 35 of the last 38 elections were that way regardless of party in power in the White House (NationalJournal).

I'm interested to see what 20/20 brings. People are pissed off in the highly-populated blue states, will that translate into a win or another loss, even though the liberals won the popular vote. Just because liberals are pissed off doesn't mean a win, there has to be the numbers in the right states - not cities.

I am just curious if you marched when Obama "separated families" and "placed kids in cages"? Did the media outlets you get your news from even tell you that at the time? Or are telling you now?

 
The ONLY people in the U.S. that should be very afraid are Democrats as they are historically out of power. It is YOUR party that is in a must win position re: the House, not ours.  

 
Even if you do, that would still leave SCOTUS in the hands of conservatives for decades to come AND allow Trump to pick the next one, two or even three SCOTUS appointments as the Senate is all but a lock to stay with the R's.

 
Many, many Americans are NOT mad as hell, in fact tens of millions of us are absolutely giddy over what Trump and the R congress have accomplished in just the last year and a half.
