CBS was given documents from the swift boat group that after consulting with their document experts, those experts said they had serious concerns on the validity of the documents.

Would CBS say screw it & go with the story anyway knowing full well the information was inacurate?

I doubt that they would have.

BUT,

For argument's sake say they went with it what would the level of outrage be if those forged documents were shown to have links to the Bush camp?

Yeah, that's what I thought.

but FOX would.  By the way, where was the outrage when the lawyer for the Bush campaign quit because he was also advising the Swift Boat Vets?
