The fact is that the S. Bernadino killers were known in their mosque and community and family, and no one reported them. The same goes for every other "home grown" terrorist, who went to a mosque, like they all did, and presumably spoke to people, had families, etc and no one reported them.

In Europe which we may become there are an estimated 5,000 fully radicalized Moslems living in various areas of London, Paris, and Brussells, and other cities. (After Paris, the Italian press put the number at 10,000, but to make it less scary I give a lower number) They appear to be supported by other people who live in the area and don't report them.  

How do you deal with a segment of society where potential mass murderers roam the streets and no one comes forward?

Yes, it is easy to say Cruz had a dumb idea that is immoral, and I won't debate that.  But if we could have a "Paris" attack in Chicago, a "Brussells" attack in SF, and a London subway attack in NYC, what do you do.

PS.  The admisintration wants 100,000 new refugees, screen in countries where you can buy a fake passport.  Every poll every taken puts the number of sympathizers at a frighteningly high level.
