We have no plans to relinquish control of our military to the U.N. nor have the FDA and USDA merged into the WHO. Some things classified presently as food additives can be dangerous and probably should be brought under control of the FDA. At the same time, the FDA and the pharmaceutical companies have too much control. Or at least it’s safe to say that their processes and procedures are messed up. I’ll even say something that will make Charlie raise an eyebrow and say the drug research, testing, and approval process does not have the citizenry’s best interest at the very top of the priority list.

About a plan to have us starve ourselves? I don’t get the connection between the above food and drug regulations with society’s push to get people to control their weight and preventative health aspects. Is the government leaning toward more control and restriction of personal freedoms regarding health? Certainly. Where’s the vast majority of the measures coming from? The liberals, those very same people that claim to want to protect personal choice such as abortion. It’s not coming from the conservatives who are blamed for all the other personal intrusions when you are in the bedroom.

There are already financial incentives to not be fat. Life insurance costs more. Some health insurance costs more. Regardless what people say, it’s harder to get a job if you’re fat, darn near impossible if you’re obese and impossible for the very morbidly obese.

Certainly fat people that live a long time inflict a higher financial burden on the health insurance and delivery system. But what is the total impact when those that die prematurely is factored in? First, everyone’s going to die from something. The end of life health costs are the largest percentage for most people. So if a large enough percentage of fat people “drop dead” prematurely, it can actually have a positive financial impact on society. The ideal financial model would be a person works and is productive most of his life, then gets fat and dies of a heart attack quickly at age 65. He therefore imposes no burden during those years when he’s unproductive anyway. People getting fat and dying prematurely actually can be beneficial to society.

OMG!!! Did you agree with me, on EVERYTHING BUT THE ''GET FIT''- which wasnt even my idea-
So I wasnt believeing it- I just had to pull your leg..WOW- YouR checking my stuff up!!!

"We have no plans to relinquish control of our military to the U.N."

On 10 October, 1995, Schweinfurt, Germany, at 0900 hrs, 550 troops of the 1/15 Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, US Army, assembled in formation, under the command of a Finnish Army General. The troops were bound for Macedonia as part of a U.N. peacekeeping force. They were wearing the blue beret and patch uniform, except for one. Spc4 Michael New, a combat medic, was wearing his GI issued uniform, with beret to match, refusing to wear the U.N. uniform. He said he swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, not the United Nations. President Clinton had relinquished control of these troops to the U.N. For this disobedient act of refusing an order to wear the U.N uniform, Spc4 New was court martialed. A hero in my eyes....and a man of conviction. His case went all the way to the US Supreme court.
